Quarter King Billiards offers premiere tip replacement services – we guarantee you factory looking & feeling results.  We have a lathe on site, and we go far out of our way to exceed our customers expectations with all of our services – especially when we are working on your cue! We have quite the process for tip work; we compress all tips before installation to avoid mushrooming,  put on your new tip, cut it down to size, hit it with 400 grit, then 800 grit, and 2000 grit sandpaper before the final sanding stage (wet sanding, 2000 grit) after which we burnish it for a perfect seal. Once that’s all finished we then seal the tip further with Tip Crystal for that factory shine as well as to further avoid any mushrooming, and finally clean up your ferrule for that brand new look and feel.
