Cue stick hits dead, upgraded tip fell off after a week or so, got a replacement sent to me per my request at no charge within days. Terrific cue and customer service.

First new cue stick in over 30 years
I purchased the Joss stick recently after many years of using my old Meucci. I thought I should try a new stick and I have always know about Joss cues so I thought give them a try. The first thing I noticed is the action from this stick. I can get a lot more action with the Joss pool cue compared to my old cue. I also purchased the Joss 12.5mm shaft also. The 12.5mm shaft gives this stick even more action than the stock shaft which is great alone. One thing I did change is the tip which I felt was a bit hard for my liking. Once I changed the tip to a med/soft tip. I could tell the stock shaft gained alot more consistancey and reaction. I suggest this cue, it is not over priced and you get excellent quality. I also want to thank pooldawg for the service.

The JOS14’s price point hides it’s true value
After being out of the game for 4 decades I didn’t want to spend a lot of money, so did a ton of research and decided on the JOS14 (and Pool Dawg..), and I’m sure glad I did on both counts. For everyday/league play the JOS14 is an amazing stick, the price hides it’s true value. The JOS14 looks impressive (important to me), is very properly balanced, is made with construction materials and workmanship in mind, and the stroke is seamless as silk. After 40 years of not playing a single game, I beat an SL4 in a 9-ball league the other night after only 1 hour of practice. Between the shaft and tip upgrade, I had a lot of fun in English land, the control I can achieve with the JOS14 is amazing. Very happy with my purchase. Customer Service was so great and helpful and responsive as well, pleasant to see in these crazy times where service often falls to the wayside (more on that when I review the Action Jump/Break cue I also purchased, which is also a fabulous purchase). The JOS14 and Pool Dawg are both great, highly recommended!
