   Joss pool cue

   I really like the cue stick and the control that I have on the cue ball. I had to pick up a soft tip due to shooting on a smaller table. I would like a performance shaft that reduces deflection for my Joss.

   I am really satisfied with my new Joss JOS55. It is a beautiful stick that is well made and well balanced. I do have a question though. Can I purchase a predator 11.75 mm Z shaft from you for my new stick or do I need to go directly to Predator?

   What can I say?

   I’m no pool pool cue expert, but I can tell you that I enjoy playing with my new joss pool cue. It has quality balance and control and I have a lot of confidence when playing. Plus it’s one heck of a pleasant looking cue!

   I am an English pool aficionado who got the bug for American 8-ball when working in Shanghai for 18 months, as the quality manager of a UK company that has its products made in China. I was introduced to the Joss PoolDawg during occasional visits to Denver, CO, when I would present a report for a major customer, where I became a nice pool buddy with my opposite number in the customer organisation, and I bought a JOS55 and Stinger Break/Jump stick to improve my game. I bought another JOS55 and Stinger to replace these, when they was stolen in 2019, and I had a tip change to a Tiger Sniper tip. Last summer on a week’s holiday in Liverpool (home of the Beatles) I spent the evenings drinking beer and playing pool with a decent friend. It soon came back to me, This is an ideal cue for just about any grade of player in my opinion. It has a pleasant fluid action, and it’s effortless to get good cue ball control with spin (US = English) to set you up for your next shot. The taut Irish linen ensures a good grip even in the heat of summer when the AC’s broken down in the pub (as happened last year) and your hands are sweating. And the cue itself, when standing between shots, gathered some appreciative appears from other pool players, and some asked me what model it was and where I bought it. I was pleased to forward them to PoolDawg.

   Without a doubt, love the cue. I have no issue with it at all. Still little peeved they sent the wrong pool cue. But it was corrected truly speedy so I’m happy about that. Shout out to Steve for fixing the issue. With outstanding customer service.
