Really like this cue stick. Just
Adore this cue stick. Just purchased. Played with it 4 hours straight. I was ready for a step up from my Valhalla 200 series and my Action Cue. Not sure on Actin model but it cost 200. 00. You can really feel the difference between the 2 others vs the McDermott. If you’re ready for an upgrade, I would definitely vouch for.

Just right cue! But better packing please!
Never played with anything other than a house stick, many years ago. Decided out of the blue that I wanted to play again, but more serious this time. Did a lot of research online, wanted an American made cue of impeccable craftsmanship, outstanding warranty, and with features that were neither “beginner” nor “pro”. A cue I could grow with, not out-grow. The price-point can’t be beat – lots of bang-for-buck here! Lifetime Maintenance Plan is icing on the cake. I did go to local stores to look at and try out many brands – remember, the tips aren’t usually set up, some won’t even hold chalk. If you come back here to buy your cue, make sure you pick up a case or some accessories from that store – it’s the right thing to do. This cue stick is just gorgeous – pictures don’t do it justice. The fit and finish are perfect. I’m an older lady, about 5’6”, with smaller hands, and the grip is terrific. The linen wrap is silky-smooth, and the entire pool cue feels well-balanced. The hit is tight, with great feel and feedback. I used the Last 4 Ever nickel shaper to set up my tip, perfect on that 13mm Navigator, and Taom V10 chalk. Practiced a few hours, then won a match. I found my “just right” cue, I hope this helps you find yours! Unrelated to the cue, 1 star for packing – can’t believe my cue got here undamaged! Stick in a plastic bag, inside a thin cardboard box inside another thin box, ends obviously crushed from dropping, no padding whatsoever inside – shameful! Shipping was fast and timely, but rough!
