This is a super star shaft! Zero deflection that took about one hour to get used to. Now I can just aim at my hit point on the object ball and fire away with confidence. Highly endorse. I am a nine in Valley and BCA league.

Mezz Ignite is the best carbon fiber shaft on the market hands down

I’ve used the revo (12.4 and 12.9), cuetec, Jacoby black, GO Customs, McDermott Defy, Becue Prime M, pechauer rogue and the Meucci. This is the top-notch carbon fiber shaft available. The deflection is non existent. The hit is solid without the ping of the revo. Get this shaft. Thank me later.

BEST SHAFT EVER

I love the way the shaft hits it gets tremendous amounts of English with very little deflection. I’ve tried several other shafts i.e.; predator Jacoby And others I believe this shaft offers a more consistent hit, due to its different construction.

I was not convinced the carbon fiber was for me. I have been playing this game for a long,long time. Then a friend let me use one of his for am month. I was wrong! I adore it. I ordered the Mezz shaft from pool Dawg. I received the shaft in three days. It does feel different in the hit, but I got used to it. Now I play with it exclusively. Did I mention I appreciate it!!!

eight month test drive

In my experience, i left a review on the jacoby black cf and said the ignite was too flexible. tested all 3 revos. cuetec and rogue extensively. the ignite does flex a little. but overall id say this is the finest cf all the way. its also the most expensive. but its incredibly fun to play with and trusty against all opponents. the power is incredible. and the finish is silky smooth.as far as im concerned its the only cf ill ever play with again.it doesnt feel dead ilke other c.f.s . its more like a super piece of wood nicely tapered. the mezz ignite is the efren of cfs . and nobodys paying me to say it.

Truely great in several ways

I have been playing for 35 year plus. I have played with every “major” carbon fiber shaft. I could go into lots of details about the difference that makes the ignite shaft stand apart from otber shafts but I wanted to distill the core reaso why i delighted with this shaft more than others. CF shafts from every other manufacturer usually offer the normal maintenance advantages associated with a list of draw backs. But what truely makes Ignite so special is you can “ have your cake and eat it too”. Why you say. Long story short… it plays and feels perfectly like the very best birdeye maple shafts. If i close my eyes and just chase the “feel”… in a blind test (yes i have done this with my friends… it plays like the quite superior maple shafts. The sound, the hit resonance, even the deflection is still there. If it low deflection… well yes but it has a significant enough deflection and squirt etc to behave like a maple shaft and it “feels and hits and sounds” like one too. That is just crazy. no other CF shaft has offered me the expereience. then it has ALL the advantages of CF shafts to boot. Antk scratch, ding etc resistant. and next ti zero maintenance to boot to keep the as slick and smooth as possible or even thinkable. The shaft itself is not black but a shimmering black / dark grey. A truely wonderful accomplishment, holistically speaking. All around… nothing like it exists in my humble opinion. 570 dollars is a ridiculous price point for a shaft to be sure, but in this carrying case it might actually be valued at it!

Very happy after two weeks

Been playing with this for about two weeks (Mezz pool cue that I also have the WX700 shaft) for. I really like it. Look and feel great. Hits and sounds a lot more like maple than I expected based on other CF shafts. Super fluid in hand in a no glove bridge. Was apprehensive about the stock tip (Zan Plus M) and was going to upgrade to Kamui. Figured I would try it as designed. Keeping the tip as I am really liking it. Has a more medium/soft feel and performs well. The shaft is $$$ I agree, but I felt that it was warranted in a year without a vacation due to covid. (I can justify anything for golf and billiards) Pooldawg always fantastic to work with.

Look Out here I come!

Excellent! I tried an LD shaft quite a few years ago and just couldn’t get adjusted to it. With the Ignite, it was almost like I was instantly able to know what to expect….well after the first few shots! I couldn’t believe that at the right speed I don’t have to compensate at all. I enjoy practicing but I am so amped to practice with this shaft. There are a few shots that I have to relearn because of throw, but I am super satisfied and scared for my opponent’s future!!

Superior Shaft on Market

Best shaft in my opinion. I’ve played with cynergy and revo. I would choose ignite every time! The shaft taper is similar to cynergy, but the density feels a bit more like revo. A very robust strike on every ball strike. The fact that the shaft comes standard with a Zan Pro Plus medium tip says it all. Premium! Shaft sits flush, I have the United joint shaft. Love it!

First CF shaft I have ever purchased/played with. Played primarily with a mezz WX700 previously. Barely any adjustments needed. No complaints. Hits, feels and sounds just like a wood shaft. But a little more powerful with the spin. Would buy again for sure. Wish they had more joint options so I can use it for my other cues.

Play with a mezz and predator have used Jacoby black, predator revos and kiehl wood shafts. The ignite hits great, feels good, little squirt low deflection. Pool dawg did a outstanding job, USPS sucks ass but over all satisfied
