Truly superb shaft
Truthfully, this shaft quickly replaced my carbon fiber shaft which i loved. It has a really great sound, fairly low deflection, and it looks wonderful.

Jacoby Kielwood shaft 5/16×14
The shaft is great. However, on this shaft, the brass insert for the pilot is enormous. It was too big for my Joss, too big for my Richard Black, too big for a Tascarella even. It will work on a Jacoby, a Bierbower and maybe a Schon. I liked the shaft so much that I took a emery board for filing nails and carefully filed it around the outside diameter and height so it would fit my other cues. Took me all afternoon without a lathe.

Low deflection vs Meucci
This shaft has a different feel than what I’m accustomed to with the red dot Meucci shaft. But after a couple weeks , I am thoroughly enjoying it. And the accuracy is quite noticeable. I am very happy with this purchase.

Excellent product that exceeded my expectations!
I’ve played with this shaft for quite a few hours. Its fluid and plays easily. The 12.75mm diameter suits me perfectly. The hit is deliberate and predictable. The service from PoolDawg is excellent. The shaft arrived well packaged and much sooner than expected. The price was right, too. If you’re looking to improve your strike, this shaft is for you.

If you’re considering it, do it.
I have to say, i’ve played on just about everything at this point. This is the premier shaft I’ve ever played. Feels like wood, sounds like wood, performs *almost* like a carbon fiber (the spin is just a little more subdued). Excellent energy transfer into the cue stick ball. The premier of all worlds. Took almost no time at all to adjust—more than any other shaft I tried, this feels like an extension of ME, rather than just a tool I use. Sold my carbon fiber shafts after getting this. The hype is real, in this bag.

Great shaft. I love how
Superb shaft. I am thrilled with how the color of the shaft matches the butt of my cue.

Effortless
Wonderful feel to this Keilwood shaft. I was pleasantly surprised how I transitioned from my Revo carbon fiber. I wanted to try a wider 12.75 width and it was a amazing choice for me

Worth the money
From my perspective, bought this shaft for my sneaky pete. Was shopping around and was looking at carbon fibers, but was still down on the looks of it. So I came across this shaft and made an inquire with a buddy of mine who builds shafts. He told me it was a solid shaft and i would not be disappointed with my purchase. Got it and was able to use it in the next tournament that i had coming up. I decided to swap the tip out with a Caiden Warrior Soft. That combination of shaft and tip fits my play style insanely, i could tell a major difference in cue stick ball control with less amount of power required. Had a dream also that i broke the shaft and woke up freaked out, so glad it was just a dream. So that goes to show you how much i like it 😀

Best Kielwood Shaft
Have been playing with this shaft the last 3 weeks. Noticeable difference and game changing. In my opinion wood shafts are better for smaller bar box tables. Carbon fiber is better for 9ft. I played with carbon fiber the last 3 years. Was using a triple sixty whyte carbon. I made the switch to this kielwood shaft on my Jacoby. Has been an amazing change. I don’t notice any real difference in deflection. This kielwood shaft is really low deflection and have not made any adjustments really for aiming or positional play. The main thing for me is the pocket. It’s a sturdy contact, I can feel the pool cue ball. I get amazing feed back and feel from the shaft. It’s not whippy or tingy in feel or sound. Extremely happy with the shaft and obviously high quality from Jacoby.

Incredible Shaft/Chose Over Carbon
Was on the fence about carbon. After shooting several dozen racks with carbon shafts ranging from $200-$900 I just couldn’t find peace. Loving the feel of maple I decided to try Kielwood. It absolutely has not disappointed. Slight adjustment in my throw etc but other than that, Well-built! Appears wonderful on my muecci and great in the pool room. Give it a try!!
