Icebreaker Tip
Love this new tip. I have better control of cue stick ball off the break. I get fantastic ball distribution off the break, making at least 2-3 balls off each break. Would endorse this tip.

Super solid and firm break tip
This tip sends the cue ball flying off the tip and is also able to grip the cue ball for spin.

Ice Breaker starts your winnings
I have been using Ice Breaker or Tiger tips since I can remember breaking. Whether for 8 or 9 ball breaks, Tiger will send balls zip to the pockets like they are scared to remain on the table in the presence of this monster tip.

Really good break tip! Highly
To be frank, really good break tip! Highly recommended hits solid with an awesome accuracy on the stick ball! Love it! Thanks pooldawg!

What a tip!
First, just let me say that I am only an intermediate player; however, I am always studying and trying to improve. Recently, I discovered that my attempts to break hard and control the cueball weren’t going so nicely. After installing the icebreaker tip I can now break more accurately and keep the pool cue ball in the middle of the table by shooting with less force and still get great breaks. My opponents appeciate this, too, as I don’t always make anything on the break but almost never leave anything on the rails or tied up!

Tiger Ice Breaker cue tip
Without a doubt, this tip has changed. The one sold up to recently was a dark grey color. I ordered from the 2021 Catalog on page 41. I received it the end of March 2021. I than checked back on line a coupe of days later but still in March and now see that that tip is replaced with the orange one shown for this item on line. The new one is called Ice Breaker plus. I called and told Pool Dog there will be some confused customers 😉 That being said….I am reviews the GREY version. Yes….it is a nice breaker tip….still not sure about jump tip as jumping is not something I am very good at. When breaking it will deliver hard action and despite the hard tip it holds chalk and so grabs the cue ball nicely. Unlike a more traditional leather tip, this one is very hard so will be more challenging to get it turned down flush with your ferrule and tip shaped. Plan on taking a lot of time to shape it. It wasn’t a big deal for me as I have a metal lathe so use to perfectly shape and finish it to accuracy better than 1/1000th of an inch. But most people don’t have that machinery so I would vouch for having a pro do the job for you even if you have done none break cues before. The sound of a hit is hard and not a soft solid sound like a normal stroke so everyone will know when you have that cue in action. I suspect the main difference in the newer orange version is only the color. Some people have been looking for tips that have color or more contrast for better aiming. Evidently mine was one of the if not the last one of the old model and since the new model was showing on line, I was surprised that they didn’t send me the newer version.

Good tip. Have to scuff
Honestly, good tip. Have to scuff it up pretty reliable when you just order it to get chalk to stick.

Solid hits!
I have to say, i replaced the original tip on my break cue with the Icebreaker. I get much better breaks without sacrificing cue ball control.
