Action Jump Break Pool cue

I’ve had this cue stick for a few weeks now. It’s my first phenolic tipped cue so I had to get used to the sound it makes(sounds like a cracked tip) BUT I must say it breaks like dynamite. I love the power it provides on top of the powerful break I already had. Shipping was speedy, safe and secure.

sturdy break pool cue that my husband and I use now. After getting this pool cue I started to realize that more balls are being dropped during my breaks; including one 9ball break. My husband also loves it, because he’s able to now jump after breaking with it (hooked without no shot). Durable item, and arrived on time.

Nice dedicated break stick

So I just got this today and tried it out. I have done break shots with worn out house cues up until now. What a difference! You can literally feel and hear all of the energy being transferred from your hand, through the pool cue, out into the phenolic tip and into the cue stick ball. Just stellar! If you just want a dedicated break and jump pool cue combo to spare your own cues, this is a good affordable option! I have kind of girlish hands, and the semi-velvety/satin black finish on the grip kind of “burned” my hands a little from friction. But that’s a very minor complaint. Also the Action quick-release felt a little bit on the weak side, just in terms of holding up and locking solidly in place. I had to tighten it down once or twice in between games. I do that as a tick anyways so no biggie. So yeah, for the money, a quality investment to break them balls!

I have to say, just purchased this in a large order and I absolutely love this cue stick. I ordered it in 21oz and it is the sledgehammer of break cues at my local bar. Even as a beginner at pool, I’ve used it to pull off some pretty amazing breaks and jump shots. The tip takes a bit to get used to and you have to draw just a little on your break for a sturdy break. This is awesome for somebody who knows what they’re doing to get a superb run out and it functions properly for somebody that knows nothing about pool but wants to seem like they do. 5 stars to Pool Dawg and to Action for this amazing cue

After years of breaking with a regular cue, it took some practice use this effectively, but WOW does it work. Percentage of pocketed balls on the break is way up, and the spread it creates increases likelihood of a clear second shot. Terrific cue for the money.

Precisely what I ordered

Cue stick was just what I expected from the online description. Requested modifications in tip and weight in the order – all done. The order took several weeks to arrive, I assume because of cue modifications. My only recommendation is quicker turnaround.

This is the first break pool cue I’ve owned with a phenolic tip generating tons of power with little effort. I’m able to Execute jump shots with solid consistency. All in all, I’d say it’s a great Stick for the value.

One of the best I’ve used

I have played pool for decades now, I’ve used several break cues. This is the superior I’ve used for under $400. I first tried the sneaky Pete version of this about 8 years ago. I swear back then you had to have the phenolic added. But now it comes that way. You really can’t beat it. I tend to like high end cues, but this is my break pool cue of choice.

Great Pool cue for Prcie

crushes racks. Phenolic tip can be difficult to control spin if you are not used to it. My APA teammate has an expensive predator break cue and after trying mine he’s gonna sell the predator and grab one of these with money in his pocket! Only downside is I wish these came with joint protectors.

Jumps and breaks extremely well. Perfectly straight cue stick. I don’t see any reason to spend more. To be fair I don’t have extensive experience with the more expensive options so this review is not a comparison. Rather I am simply stating that this cue stick delivers in terms of performance. For those who want more details I went with 18 oz and put a samsara tip on. I am happy with those two choices.
