Great cue, fantastic value
I got the cue a couple weeks ago and have loved playing with it. I bought this as a placeholder while I wait for my custom cue stick to be built, but I think I’ll end up keeping this one. Because it was such an affordable cue, I decided to take advantage of that and upgraded the tip to a Kamui Black Soft which I think pairs perfectly with the stick. My friends’ opinion on the cue is starkly divided, those who prefer heavier cues don’t like it and say “it feels too fragile” in their hands due to its lightness. My other friends who prefer lighter cues are obsessed with it and say it has a great feel when they’re playing. If you prefer lighter cues, pick this one up and you won’t regret it. The only negative aspect I can think of has nothing to do with the quality of the cue: be sure to keep an eye on it because people will definitely think it’s a bar cue at first glance (it most definitely is a really sneaky pete!).

Low Cost, High build quality Upgradeable.
After buying one of these ( used ) I liked it enough to buy another one, NEW. Both are nearly identical in weight, which indicates tight quality control standards. Also, either shaft fits either stick perfectly; another fine sign. Both are straight and have a good durable pocket. The four point design is subdued and refined… Classy. Some of our league players are dismayed when they discover I beat them with an inexpensive cue. And in case you ever need to upgrade your shaft, this 3/8 – 10 thread joint is easy to find by every brand. I’m no pro, but I was quasi famous for a few trick shots I showed Robert Byrne in his book, “Advanced Technique In Pool and Billiards.” So YES I have been playing a long time, still own about twenty cues, and have played with hundreds of top brand-name cues. My custom Schuler, an old Meucci, and hand-made Filipino cue are my all-time favorites. But these are a Truly close runner-up in quality and playability. Considering the low-price and ease of upgrading, these are a nice choice for anyone. And remember… it’s always very simple to increase weight, but difficult to lower the weight once bolts are removed. Thanks to Pool Dawg for stocking these. I am VERY pleased with these cues!

My ideal pool cue
I played with an old, super light pool cue at my local bar about a year ago and instantly fell in love with the almost surgical precision it offered. Despite its poor condition (I’m pretty sure someone took a saw to it), the weight “felt right”, and I just knew I would have to find a super light cue to call my own. The Elite Feather is exactly what I was looking for. It is EXTREMELY light (16oz), with a build quality build, no wrap (never cared for wraps), a clean design, and excellent price point (about $100). I appreciate it so much that I just purchased my second one in carrying case it gets discontinued (seems to happen often to things I like). I live in Florida and keep the Feather in my hot car when I’m not using it. Even after 10 months of heat abuse, it shows no signs of warping. Also, while I haven’t delved into the vast world of stick tips, the stock tip performs well and shows no noticeable wear-and-tear despite how often I play. The Elite Feather also has an undocumented bonus feature: hardly anyone will want to borrow it. The reactions on people’s faces when they hold it for the first time is amusing. They pretty much always hand it right back to me. Even the most casual of pool players are able to tell that the Feather’s weight is well below the norm. Little do they know the kind of touch you can achieve with it. If you’ve been thinking about trying a lighter pool cue, this is the one you want.

I love my new pool cue!

Wonderful
It was a gift for my pops who wanted a light stick he loves it. The tip was placed on perfectly too. It plays very nicely. The only concern is that the threads on the shaft is made up of plastic and not metal. Hopefully he keeps his cool when he misses a shot

I couldn’t find another cue stick
I couldn’t find another stick under 18oz. so I went with this one and it is awesome! It definitely upped my game. The only negative is the plastic where you screw the pieces together but it doesn’t affect the play and hopefully it doesn’t wear out. But I assume they needed to do it for weight reasons. Amazing cue and would definitely endorse. And it got to me really quick as well

I actually ordered this same
I actually ordered this same jump pool cue about a year ago for my gentleman friends birthday. He loves it. Last year the team he was on for 9 ball ended up at the nationals! This year I ordered the exact same set up as a backup. He says it was one of his best birthday presents ever and he uses it all the time.

slightly jealous
Amazing cue! I bought this as a gift for my wife, but as it turns out, I now secretly use hers as much as I possibly can due to how incredible its performance is. (slightly jealous)

Lightweight Elite ,paired with Ld/cf shafts
Great ,affordable , construction lightweight cue . I bought it strictly for the butt to pair with my many LD and cf shafts. Being the ld/cf shafts typically have such a stiff hit, the lightness of the butt off sets the energy transfer from the stiffer hitting revo, engage, z3 shafts , & makes for a perfectly balanced cue , that has alot of feel. If youre a player that prefers alit of english to move around the table, I suggest trying the same setup Ive mentioned above.

16oz Elite Cue
The pool cue is very impressive and outstanding feeling and shot control
Dan C. –
Outstanding handle, no wrap makes
Truthfully, wonderful handle, no wrap makes control more comfortable. I appreciate the headless weight bolt, so I can position the bolt to obtain a more balanced cue. Associate with McDermott G-Core shaft with a Kamui black soft tip I obtain a fantastic cue.

Christmas gift
I bought for a friend and he loves it. He’s intermediate player. I’m casual at best.

Solid lightweight stick
Honestly, this cue stick appears outstanding, hits sturdy, and is truly light and well balanced in hand. Stock tip (Tiger Everest) gives great control, and and wood to wood joint is robust and secure. Would highly endorse this stick to anybody who likes a light shooter. There is slight color variation between butt and shaft but not that big of a difference to be a big deal, still appears fantastic.
