   For the money one of the top-notch tips I’ve ever used. I think this tip is comparable to many of the layered tips on the market. The price is decieving. This tip would be a good purchase at twice the price. And it’s a super value. Would recomend this tip to any player especially first time users who are not sure if a layered tip is for them. Gave one to my friend on midwest nine ball tour and he’s come back 3 times wanting more.

   In my experience, i installed the Tiger Emerald (Med) on my break pool cue & i am thrilled with it. I left the center of the tip relatively flat & gently shaped the outer edge to reduce spin when breaking. It’s working great. I love the feel.

   I put one of these on my secondary Cuetec 199 cue and I appreciate it. It actually handles better than the Moori/Med.hard tip I have on my #1 cue[at a fraction of the cost]! I would recommend these tips to all amateur and intermediate players.

   Truthfully, the tip works properly. The only thing that would have made it better was for it to install itself. That aside, Pooldawg’s service is special. I usually get items 3 days after I order from them. Other suppliers can take weeks.

    Best tip for the money

    I’ve been using this tip for the past few years on a couple different cues, and I would never pass it up for the money. It’s a bit hard for a medium tip, so keep that in mind if you prefer something softer. Holds chalk well and keeps its shape for a long time.

    Back to pool after several decades

    I Bought the Tiger Emerald Pool Cue Tip to replace the tip on my playing cue, an old Predator. Manually putting 14 mm Tiger Emerald tips on 13mm cues is a treat. The only part with a learning curve was neatly carving down the edges to 13 mm. All went well. The Tiger Emerald is harder than tips I had been playing with. When I am balanced, lined up and stroking straight with the Tiger Emerald the tough shots go in. The less difficult misses are always on me. I spent some time on Pool Dawg’s web site. It is so much more than a sales venue. The personal reviews of products are pool smart for the most part. I was delighted that the order came quickly. I put the tip on the same day. Thanks for the terrific service Pool Dawg.

    Lovely purchase

    I like the feel of a medium tip and this one has been good. I bought it for my older stick that I carry now as a spare and I like the tip so much I use it often when I need a switch or for an emergency. After mshaping it I find that it holds the chalk effectively responds well to my pick and resists mushrooming very well for a softer tip. It’s also a geat bargain.

    Wonderful tip and improves my english shooting.

    I have the Tiger Emerald tip on my main cue stick and I love it. It provides a really good solid feel and nice feedback on my shots. I have increased my ability to add english to my shots by about a whole tip over the old tip I was using. I will definitely buy this tip again.

    I started a couple years

    I started a couple years ago with the Tiger Everest tip, which I liked. It is rated as a medium hard tip, but in reality it plays more like a medium soft tip. I installed the Tiger Emerald tip a year ago and liked it immediately. This Emerald tip is also rated in the medium range by Tiger but I found it plays more like a slightly harder tip. I really like the snap response I get to the cue ball using this Tiger Emerald tip. Soft shots, hard shots, “English” shots are all done well with this Emerald tip. And it holds chalk extremely well.
