Honestly, i purchased this to replace my 1.21 chalk with some trepidation. I loved the 1.21 and could not imagine being satisfied with a different chalk. I am so pleasantly surprised! The chalk is harder than the 1.21 which completely eliminates the mess that the softer chalk created. It does take a little longer to apply, but it provides the same flawless coverage as the previous Kamui chalk provided. There is no transfer to the cue ball or felt. After shooting an entire rack, my tip was still 100% covered. The adhesion of the Roku is superior to the .98 and 1.21 chalk. I am able to stick with my routine of chalking between racks, which adds to my satisfaction with this item. For players who prefer to chalk in between shots, this is now possible with significantly less chalk used. The hardness of the Roku keeps excess chalk waste to a minimum. It still has the fine particle feel that we have all come to appreciate, but will not even transfer to your finger when you run it. This is a very superior product that I wholeheartedly vouch for!

the chalk was fantastic. it really meets the standards of putting english even though the shaft isnt low deflection. at first i thought it was a bit light on the tip when i tried it. but man the chalk bites hard and hard grip. i would prefer buying a cover/case for it as nicely if you have the anxiety. i can really aim at the edge of the ball and not causes miscues. ifs a great product. if its your first time like me who always uses master chalk buying kamui chalk. you will get amused how thin it is when you apply it.

First impressions
So, here are my thoughts after two league matches of use… this chalk is SUPER GRIPPY. It goes on like the 0.98 Kamui chalk, has kind of a predator chalk feel, (but a tad softer), and stays on like the 1.21 Kamui chalk. As far as how it transfers to the stick ball… it’s was a little to hard to tell, being that my opponent was using something different, but my tip didn’t didn’t look like it needed re-chalked after taking several shots, if that helps. 😉 So, long story long, the chalk seems legit, and I like it… but time will tell.

Well, I bought this chalk cause I heard you could chalk once per game and even more if needed. I can honestly say one time will definitely get you through an entire game no problem. I’m not one of those players who like to chalk every stroke out of habit. I will say though that it does leave a little more residue on the balls. Haven’t figured out whether or not it’s something that really bothers me yet though. No miscues so far though and if you want something that will last a long time, this will cover you.

Without a doubt, the best chalk you can get period. Unlike the taom pyro, this actually sticks to hard jump/break tips. On leather tips you can easily go 10 shots between chalking your tip. I do hard draws and lots of English and still get 10 solid hits before I feel the need to rechalk. The most I went was 27 draw shots before I miscued. Not cheap but well priced right it.

From my perspective, there is always those people that scoff at the price of this chalk and say they shoot just fine with masters at a 10th of the cost……… and then proceed to miscue. This chalk is superb beyond my expectations for sure. Coats the tip really effectively, allows for some very tough english shots, even if shooting on crappy bar boxes with mudballs as a cueball. Oh and it lasts a decent bit so no need to chalk every shot, just a thin brush across the tip and you’re set.

The only issue I’ve come across is that it has a tendency to stick to the cue ball after contact. I’m a long term, but average player with an estimated FARGO based on league play a bit under 500. This is top-notch chalk I’ve ever used. It’s kinda dense with a moisture in it that leaves a residue on the cue ball, but you do not have to re-chalk after every shot and you’re less likely to miscue with English. It’s not cheap but it’s good stuff. I’m experimenting with chalks and this appears to be the best I’ve sampled thus far.

Wonderful chalk for the money.
It’s good chalk. It has great performance, but it is a bit dirty on the cue stick ball. Slight table residue. But overall a outstanding performing chalk all in all. I’ll be keeping it in my bag for the foreseeable future.

The best chak I have ever used
I use to use masters chk was never satisfied then I tryed taom V10 big mistake it did stay on the tip fine and no ball marking but I couldn’t get the English to work the chalk was like a past with metal specks in it ,so I ordered the kamui roku 6 chalk so far its the superior I have tryed I don’t have to force my shots to get my English to work . And it dosent mark the pool cue ball and stays on the tip as they said in the ads The tip I have on my que is the kamui clear super soft and with the roku 6 chalk it’s improving my game

Great chalk
I have to say, this is my second cube of Roku, and it’s worth every penny. The first one lasted me 3 years playing league twice per week. When I’m practicing alone, I usually chalk about once every 2-3 racks. During league, it’s before each rack and sometimes again if severe English is required. Unlike the .98 and 1.21, which leave nasty marks all over the pool cue ball, this one is super clean. The Taom V10 is also an excellent choice, but I think this one is even better.

it’s amazing so far. I’ve used the kamui Roku for about 2 weeks (6 days of pool) And it does seem to coat tips properly. I’m trying to break the habit of chalking every time I shoot. Operates good I hope it lasts a long time.

This chalk is the finest I’ve ever used. It holds on to the tip and can make the spin that I need for terrific shots. Also, do not need to chalk for a couple of shots which saves the usage of the chalk. I will use this chalk forever.

To be frank, so I’ve been playing pool for over 35 years and decided to give this chalk a try because most of the people that I play with are using taom chalk which most reported decent results and they liked it. So after reading several reviews of kamui and taom I pulled the trigger on both of them,started with the roku first man what a difference from predator and master chalk a lot less messy and seems to stay on the pool cue tip for quite some time. You could just keep this chalk in your pants pocket and not leave much chalk on your pants, glad I purchased this chalk it appears like it will last a long time it’s also a little bigger than traditional chalk so that may be the reason it will last longer Would buy again.

A cheat code
I can understand that great players can make Master work wonders, but for the normal human beings among us, this chalk is a cheat code. The grip on this is incredible. I’m not a frequent chalker, and miscue way less with this. Is it worth the cost? Effectively frankly, I don’t think I’ll be able to go through a whole chalk in the next six months, so per game, it costs cents. And I believe it’s bringing me more fun, so in that sense, worth it!

Chalk makes a difference!
I’ve been playing pool for years, I’ve used Taom, Predator, Masters and a few others I can’t remember. I really am a Kamui fan and after winning a small tourney I figured I’d use the cash and see what $25 chalk actually does. To tell you the truth that was 3 years ago and I’ve been buying it ever since. One piece should last you a good 9 months if you play 20+ hours a week if not the much then at least a year. $25/yr for the superior chalk isn’t bad and if you’re on the fence about it just do it, I promise you won’t regret Kamui Roku

The Jamie chalk is sloppy
The Jamie chalk is sloppy after it wears down a bit. But I have never used a chalk that works better on my breaker. It’s also amazing on my player. I can run a whole rack without chalking up. I don’t do that but I normally shoot until I miss than chalk up.
