I like using a soft tip. Loved kamui! But then a friend only had Zan! I was really skeptical at first. But now after playing with it. Man I like the feed back I get. I like the fact that I could play a few dozen racks before I have to re do the shape. Just amazing realy a good deal trying maybe not soft but what ever you like they are all well built.

Wonderful tips
I’ve not found a better tip. The medium is perfect for me, transfers lower well, but is soft enough to achieve great control on the pool cue ball. The Zan tips wear properly and hold their shape pretty properly, too. Good consistent tip that is easy to install and has a very good feel.

It proved to be a stiffer feeling hit than expected on Joss Kielwood 12. 5mm. Not a bad interaction. Shaped effectively. Mushrooming was minimal I did grind through the first one to find problems. The strike was consistent from the first one after install to 2 to 3 layer mark. I would recommend this tip to someone looking for a harder/stiffer feeling soft that has lower maintenance needs.

Excellent tips!
In my experience, i have a Cuesmith lathe and try out a lot of tips. I really like these tips. I’ve tied the Hard, Grip Hard, Medium and the Hybrid Max and all of them cut, shape and burnish really effectively. I break with my playing cue stick and there has been no mushrooming and after the “break in” I’ve only had to reshape them once. I use Toam and Pagulayan chalk and both apply and hold great with these tips. Personally I like the Hard best, but that is just a preference. The real story is all of them have been top build quality.
