Xcel C22EHR Exotic Leatherette 2×2 Hard Case – Blue

Blue puts a cooler tone on the Xcel C22EHR, a 2×2 hard cue case from the Koda Sports value line. It carries two butts and two shafts, which makes it a sensible size for a player with a main cue and a backup.

Construction starts with an oval polyform hard shell, the rigid moulded part of the case, so the cues sit in a firm oval instead of a soft bag. Over it goes exotic-texture leatherette, vinyl embossed with a reptile-style grain. Storage is handled by a large zippered accessory pocket plus a smaller pocket, and an adjustable shoulder strap takes care of the carrying.

The Blue body is trimmed in black, so the colour reads as deep and defined rather than flat. Beside the black and grey versions of this model, it adds some colour without going to extremes. If you want a pool cue case that shows a little personality on a 2×2 setup, Blue is an easy colour to live with, and the grain gives it something to look at up close.
