Great product
It looks terrific unique and does a superb job breaking balls. I have been using it a lot more than my other break cue a Pechauer break cue. I bought the heavy model. Package said it was the light but weight was 20 oz which is the weight for the heavy.

This is my first break cue and I absolutely love it. My breaks have improved 100% since I got it. I’ve let some other experienced players try it out and they were impressed as nicely. I got the lighter version with a Samsara tip and it’s exactly what I needed for me. Adore the color the name adore everything about it.

i always figured there was something wrong with how i was shooting a break shot…….not the case at all, i just needed the right kind of stick to break with. no more whimpy scatter of the balls… no more hoping one will go in. if you looking for a new break cue. Dan really out did him self when he came out with Thor Hammer. i have the heavy weight. and i giggle everytime i shoot a break shot now days

Joss Thor’s hammer break cue in purpleheart
A few years ago I purchased the ironwood version of this cue, and my friend likes it so much I bought her the same cue in purpleheart. The stick hits like a ton of bricks and looks just as great as it hits.

Honestly, looks great but I wish they had had the heavier option. A 21 oz would have been excellent. I usually only use an 18 oz for shooting.

guess you don’t care about customer satisfaction or you would have read my review more closely. I’ll repeat: I had the tip replaced by professional pool cue repair in Vegas. In his professional opinion the tip had been improperly installed. You can keep your $20,00. I’m sure I will cost you more loss of business in the future No complaints.

I ordered the Purple Heart and you will definitely sink balls on the break every time. I upgraded the tip to a Kamui SAI control break and I been very happy with the Thor Hammer. I play in a 9 ball league and it’s common to sink 2-3 balls on the break more often than not…

Explosive Break Cue!
this break cue is amazing! I had a hammerhead tip put on it, and it flew off the 5th time I broke with it. I contacted pool dawg and they had me send in the shaft to have the tip replaced. They were out of stock with the hammerhead so I had them put a Toam 2.0 tip on. This combination is explosive. I break on the corner of the kitchen, 2nd ball back for 8 ball breaks and I’m dropping 3-4 balls consistently, leaving me set up for constant break and runs on my 8 ft regulation table at home. My local pool hall has 9′ regulation tables and I’m doing the same on those, with added golden breaks. 9 and 10 ball breaks are the same, explosive spreads, leaving easy set ups for break and runs. I’m really satisfied with this set up. I was going to get a predator or cuetec break cue and I’m glad I didn’t. I saved a ton of money and I feel like I get a much better result. I have a couple friends with those and I sampled both of them, they don’t crack the rack like this stick does. Props to Joss! And thank you pool dawg for making the repair so easy.

Stick was really light, for what I thought a break stick should be. I was actually very surprised and how much better my breaks were with the lighter stick. I ordered weight bolts for it and have honestly never used them. Great stick

I honestly can’t believe this cue is not more talked about. People are seriously sleeping on this one. Not only is it attractive, but it breaks like an absolute SLEDGHAMMER!! Huge pop, sounds amazing and spreads racks with the very top-notch of them that cost 2-3Xs as much. I have used every top level break pool cue there is and I would put this up against any one of them, the value is just INSANE!

Aewsome Break Cue stick
The Thor Hammer Purple Heart, is a excellent breaking stick. I personally have this break cue turned in at 19. 4 oz. I have also changed tip to the Clear Bullet Proof tip. Having this set, will break the rack extremely nicely.
