Sledgehammer pool cue

Superb two piece break cue, I’ve used high end break sticks and custom made ones but none have been as solid as this one, I had a white diamond tip put on at pool dawg and couldn’t be happier with the stick. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants their best break possible.

From my first break I knew I did the right thing in purchasing this stick. What a difference – more durable and a better balance than my existing break cue. And the balls just scattered. I really liked the grip on the butt end as effectively. I would endorse this break cue to anyone that wants to up their game.

Return policy

I researched a stick I bought ftom Pooldawg on all the major pool online retailers. What separated Pooldawg from the others was their return policy. NO questions asked, other retailers wanted to charge restocking fees and shipping fees they incurred. Not decent, not cool with the purchase they return 100% of the purchase price. Amazing decision!

In my experience, really glad I decided to get this break cue. Much better than constantly different house cues or the fear of damaging a friend’s. The weight and balance are spot on for me too. While I haven’t made an 8-on-break yet, my break has been much more consistent (with a couple of almost made 8s)!

Absolutely love the Sledgehammer, or as my teammate calls it, “The JackHammer”. It breaks REALLY well. The standard tip performs great and chalks properly. The rubberized grip feels wonderful too. I bought the 19oz because that’s what I normally shoot with.

This my first break stick

This my first break cue stick. I ordered the 21 ounce and had the phenolic tip changed to a hard clear tip. I like it’s heft and solid feel. I was skeptical of the rubber grip but now I think it’s excellent. My breaks are better now and more consistent. I made the 8 on the break the other night at the local weekly tournament for the first time in competition.

Capable, efficient. Get LOUD breaks!

Love Am impressed by Appreciate the Sledgehammer. Really good energy transfer, really stable and low-deflection shaft. I use a solid deal of english on the break, and the cue doesn’t seem to flex one little bit. My break has improved significantly with this pool cue, with a quality deal more spread on the balls and better distribution across the table. The silicone grip is a cool addition, and makes for a unique feel. All-in-all, a capable and efficient breaker. One distinct change is just how LOUD my breaks are now, likely from the greater energy sent into the rack.

I have to say, ordered a 20ounce Sledgehammer and the cue breaks phenomenally. Scuffed the phenoloc tip and it has no issues holding chalk. I hooe to never have to play without a break cue stick again.
