    Superb cue

    From my perspective, upgraded from a hand-me-down McDermott I used for 7-8 years and finally decided to pick up this cue. It’s a gorgeous stain and played great. Put a soft tip on it. The shipment came on time and safely packed.

    I had a Hirano tip installed in this new cue stick by the PoolDawg guys, it shoots straight, is well-balanced and a good looking cue; I … very much … like the Hirano hard tip.

    Perfection for under $300

    I had originally ordered a Pechauer, but I was not impressed with it, so I returned it to PoolDawg, and had this stick sent as a replacement. The difference is astonishing. I absolutely am impressed by this cue. Shots feel sturdy and the tip (properly rounded) produces more than enough ‘english’. My game is more enjoyable using this McDermott.     The Cue stick os awesome but the tip upgrade wasn’t

    this is a beautiful Cue Stick it’s well balanced and the feel/feedback i get from the g-core shaft is excellent. The only issue I had was the super soft tip upgrade I got the tip broke off after only 3hrs of play so i had to order a new shaft but i got the standard tip for Mcderment’s 13mm g-core shaft and I’ve had no problems since Would buy again.

    I always heard McDermott was a good brand so i wanted to try one out. This cue is beautiful and shoots solid and the G-Core shaft really seems to make a difference.

    Truly nice cue. The G-core shaft has a decent feel to it . Lovely wood on the shaft. I do wish that the wrap was a bit more raised/coarse for grip.
