Nice pool cue

I am an old fart who always fooled around playing pool but recently converted my garage into a ”man cave” and got my own table and began getting more serious about it. For my first ever cue I first purchased a Vector Stick for about $100 and liked it although the bolt in the butt end was loose and would not tighten very irritating when shooting so I superglued it and it was OK. I decided I would like to step up to a better stick so I did some reading and bought this McDermott pool cue. Functionally it is great robust shots I guess the G core helps with that along with a ”wood to wood”connection instead of metal. It looks terrific too. Extremely happy. My pool maniac buddy warned me a better pool cue won’t necessarily make you play better but it sure seems to help some.
