I adore my breaker pool cue. It gets the job done, the cue stick is well put together and doesnt have any nicks or damaged. They got my engraving correct and i recieved it in a little less then a week. Love this cue valued at every penny.

What a battle ax!
Truthfully, i just started shooting in an APA league for the first time. Of course I wanted my own equipment. I picked out two cues, both Athena cues. One was a battle ax break cue. I was so satisfied when I started using it. I play eight ball and nine ball and more times than not I get at least one ball on my break. I have pocketed 2 and 3 balls too off a nine ball rack. I don’t feel that I have to put a huge amount of power behind it, just a good stroke and follow through. The 22 ounce weight feels nice. I shoot with all men and they wanted to try it and they were impressed too. They are all good shooters and said that the cue stick was quite silky and provided a lot of power with medium amount of force. I also like the option of being able to add weight in the butt if I want a little extra. I would highly endorse Athena cues for women. Good results without spending a huge amount of money.

My Battle Axe
In my experience, so my Battle Axe has just started playing pool and she picked this break cue and has been hitting more and more solid breaks. She absolutely loves this cue and every time she hits with it she has more and more confidence in her shots. The design is amazing and this will be a cue she will keep in her bag for a long time.

Superb Stick, and Terrific Value
From my perspective, i love the stick. It has improved my breaking, and is a reliable weight. I am considering adding a little more weight to it, but I am going to practice a bit more before I decide that. The graphic was pretty cool to. It was a good make for the amount. I, also, got the engraving. That was awesome looking, as well.
