Achieving Cynergy
Wow! When you think of what the word synergy means you really get the feeling of what Cuetec was trying to achieve. I’m 50 years old and I’ve just started playing seriously over the last year. I’ve already tried about a dozen different cue sticks , including some of Cuetecs’ like the 360, but the Cynergy is a huge step above the rest. It has the lowest deflection of all the cues I’ve used and offers me the best and straightest shot with the tip that it comes with. It feels like your hitting with a wood shaft but handles like a carbon shaft with the action you get off the stick ball. The little white stripe on the ferrule makes aiming even easier and for the cost it’s more than a bargain. Cuetec hit a homer ion this one.

I have to say, as anticipated my new Cue stick tec Cynergy 15K carbon shaft has improved my shot making ability. Shoots amazing and the deflection is at an all time high for this shaft. I’ve shot with the revo and the Jacoby black as well as the new muecci pro and would choose this shaft every single time. Haven’t really seen much on the shaft prior to purchasing it but I did have to readjust my game a little. It doesn’t have the random thud sound the revo does, but having the white ferrule drastically helps out. hope this helps to the guys who are in between their expensive toy decision making process🤙🤙🎱🎱🎱

The shaft feels really good. I didn’t need much time to get used to it. After two days it felt natural. I don’t play with a glove and I was really impressed of the silk effortless feeling of the shaft. The shaft didn’t feel any stiff at all. In the beginning it was a bit strange to play with a black shaft, but that thought went away quite swift. I can recommend the shaft for sure. Have tried the Revo also. That shaft felt solid too, but I remember it was stiffer. Different folks different strokes. I vote Cynergy.

I bought this cue stick for my husband. He loves it. It took him a little while to get use to it, it’s his first carbon fiber cue. He highly recommends the Cuetec cynergy. He wishes he had got one sooner. The only concern now is with the Covid 19 stay at home order the places he performs pool at are all closed and he has to practice by himself on our home table.

I have to say, everything that I had hoped for in a shaft. I have a playing cue that I’ve loved for 25 years and I decided that I wanted to try a carbon fiber shaft since they are gaining such popularity. My cue has a 5/16 x 14 pin and I didn’t want to wait months for a customization that another brand said was needed. I decided on the Cynergy and I couldn’t be happier. Truthfully, i am quite impressed with this shaft. First off, fit and finish is spot on when paired with a Joss butt. No under/overhang to speak of. The feel of this is amazing. Its silky effortless, so no glove needed. Most importantly, I can actually feel the shot. Deflection is less than what I had with my high performance Joss shaft, which says a lot. I like the sniper tip on it now that it’s worn in a bit. It took probably 8-10 games, but now its just right. It came with a bunch of alcohol wipes and a screw-on protector for the shaft. Overall I’m extremely content with this shaft and the tiger sniper tip that it comes with.

Better than the Predator Revo 12.4
I use the 15K on my Predator Sport 2 Ember No Wrap butt. I returned the Revo 12.4, kept the butt, and ordered the 15K. It fits flush as if it was made for the butt and balances out the cue; I think it’s because it’s a Uni-Loc. Revo is a superb shaft, but it had a different feel and sound unlike wood, but gave it a firm strike that was excellent for long shots. However, the 15K offers the same firm hit like the Revo, but he feels and sounds like wood. 15K has a slightly more deflection than the Revo, but it is still really low deflection. The built quality on the 15K is much better than the Revo. The way the carbon fiber was put together is more consistent in look. It doesn’t have the shine the Revo had, but is still really effortless without the glove. It feels more firm, but it weights the same as the Revo. It came in a really solid box with foam that held the pool cue and wipes. It came with its own joint protector. The shaft was nicely hugged by the foam for extra protection. The box itself was wrapped in shrink wrap. Then that box was in a white this box. Last thing to remember is that the 15k has a ferrule, so you can take it to any repair shops to get the tips changed. The Revo does not have a ferrule and it requires you have an authorized repair center change the tip, so your warranty is void. To sum it up, if wood shafts were “ice cream” and you really like ice cream/wood shaft, but wanted to try out a carbon fiber shaft, the 15K is like ice cream whereas the Revo is frozen yogurt.

Ordered the 12.4 cuetec cynergy shaft. Has a medium to firm strike. It has a little more deflection than I thought it would. Can get some satisfactory action on cue stick ball. I did have a tip change to a kamui black soft tip which I prefer over the sniper tip. Should have probably went with the pechauer rogue shaft instead , I have a friend that handles with that shaft and have used it a few times. Going to give the cuetec a few more weeks to see how I like it. As always pool dawg has great customer service and will continue to be a customer.

Adore the shaft. The elongated straight taper allows my bridge hand to remain stable throughout the stroke. The black shaft with narrow white ferrule stands out against the stick ball for precise cueing. The shaft is perfectly straight and smooth and should remain so with a limited lifetime warranty. Crisp Precision and Incredible Feedback
I purchased a Cuetec Cynergy 15K shaft and installed it on my Cuetec R360. The shaft went on very snug, OK extremely snug. I made my first shot with it, a difficult kick shot but going soft off the side rail. The “feedback” on this cue is mind boggling. I’ve used the Predator Revo and prefer this shaft because I get a much more fine-tuned “touch” or feel to every shot. I proceeded to take as many difficult shots as I could and was surprised at how I was pocketing everything with ease. Right off the bat I would say I shot the top-notch in my life. Valued at every penny! Oh and don’t be fooled by the videos online suggesting that this shaft is inferior to the Revo due to more deflection. I haven’t noticed any deflection or squirt. If there actually is any It was imperceptible. All I could see was complete precision in my shot. Also I found aiming shots suddenly became a million times easier. Not sure if it’s the white ferrule that is doing this but finding and hitting the right contact point on the cue ball is now super effortless. I would quite highly reccomend this shaft to any serious pool player. In fact, after watching a local player play with complete precision in a tournament recently I found out later that he also uses the Cynergy shaft. That to me was quite an endorsement since he is always the one to beat in tournaments.

I use this shaft on my Mezz butt with a Wavy pin. I have retired the Ignite because the 15K offers better feel. Also, the long consistent pro taper is quite nice. It provides enough power too without the annoying sound like the Revo 12.4. Here is how I would rate it: Feel = 5/5 Power = 4/5 Taper = 5/5 Quality = 5/5 Price point = 5/5 Value = 5/5 I have two of them in my cue case, one is my main and the other is by back-up. Also like having the white ferrule. The Ignite shaft is stored away in a box with plans to sell it someone, if I can find someone.

As you would come to expect from a carbon shaft, it’s truly smooth. The taper is amazing and transitions across your bridge wonderfully. I was hesitant about the tiger sniper tip as I usually use Zan Premium Soft, but it handles wonderful and feels more soft than medium. The consistency feel/hit is quite close to wood. You truly can’t go wrong. I’ve played a several carbon shafts and when they average $400 it isn’t cheap I will be sticking with this carbon if I ever need to purchase in the future. Cuetec got this one right!

Pleasantly Surprised
I bought a Cuetec Thunderbolt cue stick around 10 years ago. I didn’t use it much though because I’ve always had Meucci’s and I couldn’t change. I have a $1500 Meucci cue with carbon fiber shaft that I’ve been using, and don’t get me wrong, it’s a nice-looking cue, but I was in kind of a rut and was looking to try and change things up a bit. I brought my Cuetec cue out again and ordered this Cynergy carbon fiber shaft for it. When I put the two together and started playing, it was like magic. It just felt perfect and I never played better. I did change the tip to Ultra Skin Medium, I didn’t care for the soft tip it came with. Overall, there is something special about this shaft and it was one of the finest investments I could have made.

Outstanding blend of performance and response!
I had pooldawg put on a kamui tip for me because it’s what I prefer. They did a fantastic job shaping it and I had to do little touch up work when the shaft got here. The shaft performs far better than maple but required running some training drills to get a feel for it. It’s like piloting a fighter jet after you’ve been driving an old junker. You get tons of spin and amazing hit/feel/response plus very low maintenance with the cynergy. Just wipe it down and put it away. One thing you need to be aware of!!!! The cynergy is back heavy and can really throw off your stroke. I had to pull 1 Oz. of weight out of my cue to get it balanced back properly. After the weight adjustment in my stick and getting a feel for the extra power of CF I’m shooting great. When I say extra power, I’m referring to how much softer I have to strike the ball to get the same amount of desired draw. I have the exact same tip brand and tip diameter on both my maple and cf shaft and I really have to dial back my power with cf or I accidentally draw the cue stick ball the length of the table. Cuetec has the most well balanced shaft when it comes to improving your performance and holding onto the contact and feel that you’re used to with maple.

In my experience, quite low deflection, take care when stroking with this shaft moves the stick ball with greatly reduced effort. shaft handles extremely consistent. also extremely responsive to extreme English. put a zan hybrid max tip on it really liked the way it handled. it is much lighter than traditional wood shaft, took a few weeks to get use to. all in all, I believe, the shaft performs exactly how cuetec describes. probably the last shaft you will ever use once you get use to it.

Having a hit this consistent will positively impact the rate in which I will be able to improve. Receiving the same results from a stroke which feels the same will be instrumental in raising the level of my game. I like that the shaft will maintain its smoothness. And maintain straightness even with temperature variations over time. The the shaft fits and lines up to my complete satisfaction with both of the butts in intend to continue use with it. it depends = its different
cuetec is just what was promised = really effortless, naturalish feel, no bad noises.. stiff etc. but shaft is very different comparing to my previous wooden shaft = its going take awhile when I can draw any conclusions if it is gamechanger. Surely it feels like that after ca. 4 hrs testing. some very good shots i couldnt do before. but for example defaul tip is so different (harder) comparing to my previous (elkmaster marinated in milk, Efren-style) = miscues, some shots are not simple at this moment = there is adjustment issues (must lessen English) or phaps i need to change tip immediately = which probably leads no-warranty here in periferia, no certified cuetec tip changers around Finland I suppose? big thanks to PoolDawg for well functioning shopping experience, relatively affordable, fast and nice service to sending abroad! (No any thanks to Finnish customs, very unclear messaging and prosedure paying customs fee including but actually not including Postal service fee) nicely its certainly put me doing much more work for my pool skills, so it is gamechanger in that already 🙂

Between my maple shaft (which is not a low deflection) and this one, I instantly noticed a difference in cue ball reaction. From my perspective, i used a revo 12.4 for years. I just got in the cynergy 12.5. Measuring everything appears that the cynergy is in the 12.5 high range. Closer to 12.6. I measure the revo and it is 12.4 on the dot. However the pool cue shaft acts and reacts truly properly. I wish there was a way to turn this down to a 12.4, but get very well reactions with the shaft.

Superb option if you want CF shaft!
Truthfully, this is my first experience with CF shaft. Love how effortless it glides through your bridge hand. Taper feels excellent with closed bridge. Wonderful robust feel on strike and the tip is excellent. Only took a few hours to get accustomed how much less deflection this shaft has compared to my maple shaft. Had considered all other CF options but believe I made the correct decision with the Cynergy 12.5 shaft. I play APA and TAP leagues.

Well I came to read the reviews to see if anyone has played with the 11.8 and the 12.5. I’ve only wanted a cuetec shaft but they’re so expensive I just tried cheaper CF shafts.. and they all played completely different then what I thought CF shaft should play like. I finally broke down and bought an 11.8 cynergy and it took me a while to adjust to it honestly. I’m used to having to adjust where I aim based on the spin I’m using, nicely with the cynergy shaft u line up every shot as if ur using center English which really takes some getting use to. It’s amazing..almost cheating in my opinion to be able to shoot every shot with center ball makes the game so much easier. No matter how much spin u put on the cueball unless ur cue is elevated some the cueball goes exactly where aim it at. I’ll never play with another shaft that’s not a cuetec

I ordered this SVB Cuetec Cynergy 15K carbon composite shaft about 5 weeks ago with a 12. 5 mmTiger Emerald tip. I had been using a maple 11. 78mm shaft with a Tiger Emerald tip for sometime. I like the “English” capability of the 11. 78mm tip but straight shots are slightly more challenging. What I immediately noticed with my new Cuetec Cynergy 15K shaft was accurate straight shots, and fine “English” capability. I’m quite impressed and comfortable with this Cynergy shaft. It has a magical feel when striking the white cue ball. I will not be using a maple shaft going forward.

No going back
Honestly, i got my first cynergy about 6 months ago. Honestly, it took a bit if getting used to. Id get frustrated and switch back to my hybrid shaft. Eventually I got it figured out and played with nothing else for a few months. Bought a new cue with a different joint. Thought I’d play the new wood shaft until I figured out the funds for another cynergy. NOPE! Played one rack with the new cue stick and ordered a cynergy.
