Without a doubt, the chocolate color looks quite close in reality as the photo on the site. The rack itself does not sit overly tight on the balls, allowing you to remove the rack without trouble after racking.

they look and feel nice and heavy. functional . wood racks splinter. these r made well but its easy to whack yourself in the knee too. if this rack nails you it might not feel too fine. i like the heavy duty plastic 8 ball racks alot more.

I must admit, well made, sturdy rack. Color match for my pool cue holder. Fits the color scheme of my new Simonis “wine” cloth as well. Not sure what type of wood but is robust, heavy enough, not lightweight and cheesy… Really like racking the billiard balls in this one! Amazing, smooth finish and color! Really like Pool Dawg for product mix and order processing/delivery!

This thing is built like a tank, at a reasonable cost. The angles form a symmetrical triangle, as a good rack should, and it has enough space to allow you to lift it, without bumping the balls.
