I have used several different tip tools in the past and they were adequate. This tool is the best of them all. It shapes the tips much faster and easier than the other tools I have used. Maintaining the shape of the tip and roughing the tip at the same time has dramatically improved my draw shots.

Over time I have used various shapers and each had a good point or two, but this tool is a tool I believe most everyone would be gla D to have in their pool cue cas. If for no other reason the size of this tool fits very Properly in your hand verses some of the others such as the bow tie type. It may sound strange to some people but with this instrument of quality I feel as if I have an advantage over my competitors.

From my perspective, i love this tip tool. I always shaped my tips with the williards dime tip tool until I got this tip tool. This is now the only tip tool I use. I have two of them. One that is a dime with the scuffer on the back, and another that is dime on one side and a nickel on the back Money well spent.
