Last 4 Ever tip tools are known for their longevity and simple, effective design. Proper tip maintenance keeps your cue delivering the spin and control you expect, and a reliable tip tool saves you from inconsistent chalk hold or glazing. This brand is favored by players who want a durable tool that just works, rack after rack. Regular shaping also extends tip life and helps your cue feel the same from one session to the next.
The TTL4Q Tip Tool is shaped to help maintain a “quarter” radius on your cue tip, a common preference for players who like a slightly flatter contact on the cue ball. It’s a great option for league and tournament players who want a familiar tip shape every time. If you prefer a firmer hit and a little more contact area, the quarter radius is a popular choice. Keep it in your case and you’ll always be ready to freshen the tip before a big set. Browse more in our Tip Tools category.
Specs in plain language: the tool measures roughly 7″ by 9″ by 3″ in packaged dimensions and is sized to fit comfortably in a case pocket. The quarter-radius profile helps create a consistent curve, which can improve cue ball control and reduce miscues when chalked properly. Use light, even pressure to maintain the shape without over-sanding the leather. It’s a simple but important piece of maintenance gear that helps your cue play the way you expect.
Quarter King Billiards stocks the tools that players actually use and ships quickly. Orders over $99 ship free, and if you’re unsure whether a nickel or quarter radius fits your stroke, we can help. We’re happy to talk through tip shapes and how they impact feel. Take care of your tip, protect your performance, and keep your cue dialed in.

Quickly shapes your tip
Purchased this puppy on the recommendation of a pro: it’s the tip shaper they were using. No doubt that this will last forever, it is rugged as heck, and right up there in craftsmanship and durability with a Willard. While the body of the shaper is indeed a quarter, the scuffing material itself reduces the shape to a nickel. This is not an issue, however, as after hitting some balls, the tip will wear into a quarter radius. Along with its plastic bag, the size is just right to fit into the smaller compartment on a pool cue cue case, and if you have a dragon tongue-like scuffer, that’ll stack on top and keep them from clattering around against each other and your chalk. I’m still learning to love this scuffer, and still prefer the “mechanism” of the Willard, but I’m sure that this one will serve its purpose and earn its place alongside those tools.

GREAT SHAPE
I have to say, i AM A NEWER PLAYER AND DIDN’T WANT TO HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT THE FACT THAT I MAY NOT BE HITTING PRECISELY CENTERED ON THE CUE BALL SO I GOT A FLATTER DIAMETER RADIUS SO I CAN WORK ON THAT IN A YEAR OR SO. RIGHT NOW I AM WORKING ON PRIMARILY MY STANCE, POTTING BALLS, SPEED CONTROL, CONTROLLING FOLLOW AND STUN. I HAVEN’T ADDED ENGLISH AND I’M GLAD THIS FLATTER SHAPE MAKES THE CUE MORE FORGIVING AND HELPS PREVENT UNINTENDED ENGLISH.

Without a doubt, wonderful for roughing up break tip or jump cue tip. Makes for a much better coverage of chalk on tip. Thanks Pool Dawg for adding it to your menu.
