Koda KD40 Pool Cue

The Koda KD40 pool cue is a black playing cue with a ringtail leatherette wrap, which sets it apart from the linen-wrapped cues in the same family. It suits players who prefer the feel of a leatherette grip and want a black cue to go with it. The wrap is the main thing that changes the character of this one.

Working back from the tip: a Le Pro tip at 12.5 mm, a 29-inch shaft of 100% hard rock Canadian maple, then a glossy black collar measuring 10 mm. The 5/16 x 18 joint pin leads into the butt, which carries the ringtail leatherette wrap, a black Implex cap and a compression bumper.

Black is the color all the way through, with a glossy black collar and black Implex butt cap keeping the rest of the cue in one tone. Weights of 18, 19, 20 and 21 oz are offered, and you choose yours at checkout. For a black pool cue with a leatherette wrap and a standard 5/16 x 18 joint, the KD40 is a straightforward pick.
