The I3 shaft is the business end of this beauty!
I play pool with my senior friends 5 days a week for 3 hours per day. They all have custom cues and are capable of running a rack of balls during or 8 ball matches. As you can guess, everyone of them gave me advice when I told them about my search for a daily shooting cue stick. Tip size, shaft taper, weight, grip type blah blah blah! I narrowed it down to three cues from McDermott and then called their customer support. The answer I received was the SL3 will immediately improve your game due to the I3 shaft. I was hesitant due to the tip size and European shaft taper. Thank goodness I listened and bought this baby! When I miss its on me and getting position is greatly improved. My other hesitation was the gray butt section, I wanted it to look custom. Boom baby….. it looks stunning, better than the pictures. I have no regrets and believe this bad boy is under priced.
