The ABK05 is part of the sport break series from Action! The ABK05 features a gloss black paint job with a matching red racing stripe and textured performance grip for a secure stroke and rock-solid break. The ABK05 comes standard with a 13.5mm Hard Maple shaft that uses the Inox Quick Release for a guaranteed close fit, and a phenolic tip with a red pad for a crisp feel on the break.

Action Break Cue

The ordering, item knowledge and service quite quality. However, the Taom tip was too pointy, especially for a phenolic type tip. I had to bring it to a local guy, pay $5 to have it filed to a more nickle profile. This should have been done prior to shipment to me.

Great Break Pool cue at a great price point

For a 150+ dollar cue I have been extremely impressed, I had the phenolic tip swapped out for a Kamui Sai Control Break tip. My break shots aren’t very powerful however this break cue makes it easier for me to get a good spread on the break. I highly recommend this break cue, you don’t need to spend hundreds of dollars to get a solid break pool cue. Unfortunately there isn’t any joint protectors made specifically for this cue stick however I can confirm that the Scorpion JAR joint protector do fit this cue. I tried my Lucasi Uni-Lock joint protectors but the one that goes over the pin leaves a tiny gap and the shaft one didn’t have a long enough pin to be able to screw onto the shaft. I hope this review helps current owners and future buyers.

Operates amazing compared to the house cues.

I’m an APA level 3 player. I’m had previous control issues breaking with a phenolic tip on a teammate’s break cue so I had the tip replaced with the Samsara leather tip. I am breaking much harder than I did using a house pool cue consistently getting a good spread and usually a ball. Quite satisfied with the purchase.
