I must admit, this cue is not for everyone. I have been playing with a small tip for many years. When shooting straight in shots you have to make sure you are dead center. Your draw is really increased with this cue and spinning the cue ball is a given. Deflection is all most gone for now. This is really a outstanding combination stick. But takes time to master it.

Good shaft, tip not so much.
10.5 is a good diameter for me, but the tiger sniper is too soft and doesn’t feel like it transfers energy as efficiently. The tip also mushrooms despite proper storage and maintenance.

Honestly, i love this shaft I had a 10.5mm wood shaft for years will never go back it did take me about an hour to get use to the new feel of it. And I am not new to shooting pool been playing since I was about 12yrs old and now I am 58yrs old. This is the best money I have spent so far on a shaft..

Trying something different
I have to say, i purchased this shaft because I have short wider hands than most players. With this shaft I’m able to get a closed bridge hand and get better English on the stick ball the before. I highly suggest!

I must admit, delivery of the shaft quick Was expected for being a carbon fiber shaft, lighter compared to wood which does alter the cues weight distribution. Shots are solid but still gives off a slightly hollow sound.

Snooker and three cushion shaft
Seems like the 10.5cynergy is better for snooker or three cushion. It’s okay for pool but if you’re only going to play pool then the 10.5mm is a little too small unless you like playing all the games with that size.

Without a doubt, this shaft is amazing, appears outstanding, and came packaged nicely enough to drop off a building. It fit my pool cue butt perfectly. Getting English on my shots is a breeze, I’ve definitely seen an improvement in my game over the old 13mm tip wood shaft I played with for years.

Superior shaft in english pool
I’ve had this shaft for about two weeks now and there isn’t any better shaft for English pool. I was initially skeptical with the size of the tip for 1 7/8″ balls, usually people are playing much smaller tips. Once i had a few hits with it, i was blown away by how it feels. There is little to no deflection, and the taper rise is perfect. I play with a Cuetec 12.5 Cynergy for American pool, the 10.5 feels almost identical with English sized balls as the 12.5 hitting American sized balls. I Highly doubt you will find a better shaft for English pool than this.

To be frank, this carbon shaft is a life changer! My game has improved significantly since I started shooting with it. My old shaft was a 12mm, so going to this was a big change! I’ve been shooting in TAP and APA since 2020 on 7ft Diamond tables only. I’ve held my spot as a 5 in both leagues although in TAP I tend to fluctuate between a SL 5 &’ 4. Point is I’m not new to the world of pool. I can consider myself an advanced player and can determine what type of english is needed on the stick ball. I purchased this a a few weeks ago and upon purchase I upgraded the tip to a predator victory soft. Let me tell you this tip holds my kamui chalk amazing, and the glossy finish gives my shaft a one of a kind look. I would only recommend a 10.5mm to an advanced player. I say this due to small margin of errors upon hits can throw your shot of drastically. Overall, this cue stick has improved my english and defensive shots, specifically the really slow concentrated pocket ones. The package was really welcoming &’ I felt like I made a $1,000 purchase! Some cuetec cleaning wipes were included which I thought was awesome. It’s small details like this that make people want to keep making purchases. I can’t wait to see how I shoot with it in the course of a couple months or years. I’m only 24 &’ I believe this low deflection shaft will make me shoot like a semi pro down the road. Tiny Tip
Bought this shaft instead of buying a oversized snooker cue. It has a pro taper and fits in a standard size case. It will not warp like most snooker cues. Used it with al light butt for snooker and was impressed. Was simple to buy and got it in 2 days

Superb for snooker
I play both snooker and pool. I bought this shaft to replace my standard wooden snooker cue stick. I have been playing pool with a carbon fiber since 2017. I’m a huge fan of this new shaft. Now when I play either snooker or pool the feel is very similar. I have been consistently scoring higher breaks in snooker. If you are like me and play both snooker and pool and already have a carbon fiber pool pool cue then this is the way to go for a snooker cue.

Better than my snooker cue
For the last 6 years, I have played with snooker cues made in England. I saw this cue with a 10.5 mm tip which is only 0.5 mm larger than the tip on my snooker cue. It plays similarly to my snooker cue but it is far more accurate. The only minor issue is the shaft is very tight on the last few turns. It is getting better so it will improve with time. I am really enjoying this pool cue.

Tiny shaft requires precision
Truthfully, an excellent shaft! The taper does differ from the cynergy 11.75 and 12.75 shafts. This one gets a little ‘fat’ if you shoot with a long stroke. Extremely interesting hit that can put impressive shape on the cue stick ball. Understand the point where you impact the pool cue ball is smaller so while there are more options with shape and control it’s also more margin for error. Your pocket and stroke need to be truly precise. 10/10 if you’re looking at this and wondering go ahead and jump.

Cynergy 10.5 — love it!
Such a great shaft. I use the 10.5 Cynergy for UK style 8 ball. Only had it a month and it’s already won more than double its priced right. Plays similar to my Predator z3 deflection-wise. Highly recommended for anything smaller than an American size pool ball.

I really enjoy using this cue. I cannot say if it has made my game better but I certainly have improved with my cue ball control the seamless feel and low deflection required me to work on my stroke a little more but I play everyday so it didn’t take long to find the right FLOW

Carbon Fiber 10. 5 diameter. Definently has a smooth finish, sturdy feel. arrived in a solid box in bubble wrap, and in its own sheathe. Well protected, Takes a little bit getting used to, got some unnecessary english or spin on the ball not intending to, but thats operater error. It has zero to do with the cueshaft itself.

The smaller diameter really helps with precision and the carbon shaft really allows for a better power transfer and lower deflection point boosting the accuracy of my hits. The smoothness of the shaft feels and looks great with or without the use of gloves.

Appreciate this 10. 5mm shaft it’s really close to my wood shaft hit minus the deflection. I really would rather shoot with wood shafts but this has changed my mind I don’t think I would try anything else it’s hard to replace. Would suggest to anyone that likes a thin shaft
