This shaft has no weird noises. Shoots excellent. Finest purchase I have made. Been playing with it for about 3 weeks now and already have better cue control than I had with my predator. Didn’t take but maybe a week to get used to the feel.

Upped my game

Loved my OB skinny shaft, and still do, but this is another level. Can use less force to exert all categories of spin, and thus my stroke is more mechanically consistent with this shaft. I’ve always been a 4 or 5, but this shaft put me on a 6 week win streak and up to a 6 for the first time. Only adjustment was to shoot softer, like the superior players do. Currently the only true carbon fiber skinny shaft, and it feels nothing short of magical.

Pechauer 12.4 rogue

To be frank, i recently purchased this shaft because I felt it was fine for something different . After trying a friend’s carbon shaft I liked the feel of the way it strike and felt . So, with that said I give this a very heavy rating even though with the current world of affairs of the pandemic , early indications have shown it was the correct choice for a new upgraded shaft. The taper is natural and feels really nice . Again with limited time to use it I am quite pleased so far with the outcome

Pechauer Rogue shaft is fantastic

I have to say, the Pechauer Rogue shaft functions great for me. The feel and sound of the contact is pleasant, without any harsh impact feel. There is no glassy sound like some of the other carbon fiber shafts make. The feel is even better than that of a wood shaft. It will make soft shots very well and I can also get quite hard hits when I need them. I can spin the ball better and more consistently with this shaft. The surface is extremely nice with low friction, as long as it is kept clean. I am doing fine wiping it down with a water-dampened facial tissue after a few hours of use. I avoid buffing abrasive chalk dust into the surface. The deflection is low, but not as low as a Predator. I need to compensate more for deflection on side-English shots, compared to using a Predator 314 or Revo, which I also own. I shoot better overall with the Rogue than I do with the Revo, and I am much happier with the feel and sound of the Rogue.

Great shaft but didn’t fit the older cue I owned

Without a doubt, shaft arrived quickly in brand new condition with a soft tip I had ordered. Unfortunately it was about 1 mm smaller than the pechauer pool cue I owned at the connecting pin. It seems really nice and I really like my older pechauer so I decided to order a new butt that should fit the shaft better. About 4-8 weeks til that is delivered and I’ll finally be ready to go. Overall Pooldawg was great. They did offer to let me return the pool cue at no charge but I opted to upgrade instead

It was a big investment

It was a big investment and I was on the fence about it but couldn’t be happier with my rogue 12.4. Came from a standard pechauer jp shaft and the downsizing was somewhat of a concern with larger hands but it feels extremely comfortable in a closed bridge and the contact is very solid, not a whole lot different than my jp standard wood shaft. The deflection improvement was definitely noticeable.
