    Nice shaft

From my perspective, seems like a solid shooting shaft and it definitely takes some practice to get used to for me ! I bought the 12.4 revo and I practiced for a couple months before league started and I did nice with it but caught myself rattling balls in the pocket from all the english but with this pechauer it seems that i can still get the balls to fall instead of hanging up ! It is about the same diameter as my z shaft and that’s one reason I like it better then my revo ! I would highly endorse this shaft

The dream that is the Pechauer Rogue

I’ve been eyeing carbon fiber shafts for quite some time and following the progression of the pros as more and more have switched. I’ve heard the arguments for and against. What made me take the proverbial plunge were the arguments for the technology incorporated in this innovative idea. I’ve played with a Predator Z2 shaft for the past 7 years and have been quite impressed with low deflection technology. Carbon fiber provides low deflection plus it handles like brand new shaft on the first day or 20 years down the road. It simply needs to be wiped down to clean and it won’t dent or warp or any of the downsides to playing with a wood shaft. I still am sentimental towards to aesthetics of the look of wood but let’s face it, they get the dirty chalk look engrained into the shaft and it simply looks filthy. The carbon fiber is black and sleek and appears perfect always. I liked the analogy I read about carbon fiber vs a wood shaft as to the modern day golf clubs vs the old wooden clubs. And with all this in mind I decided to make the sizable purchase. It’s only been a few weeks and I can say that I’m nothing but pleased! I chose the Rogue specifically because of the reviews I’ve read and the theme of the feel and the sound of the shaft kept resounding. It has a different sound and feel of wood that was an adjustment at first, not a negative, just a difference. I’ve grown accustomed in a short time and I have no desire to returning to life before the Rogue.

    Very impressed

So I did not pick up my rogue from pooldawg because it was sold out during the quarantine, but since I do most of my billiard shopping here I figured I’d write a review here. Well I’ve been hesitant to move to CF for a long time, but I was getting really tired of getting small dings in the shaft. It’s very distracting to me, and I finally figured I go with a CF shaft. I’ve tried some CF shafts before and they had a weird feel to me – definitely didn’t feel like my LD wood shaft (firmer hit, just different). Once I saw they started making the CF shafts thinner I decided to get the rogue since 11.8 was close to my current 11.75 shaft. So I was expecting to have to get used to how a CF hit and felt, etc. But when I got the rogue I was extremely surprised that it hit just like my wood shaft. Of course the texture in your hand is different, but the feedback and feel of the shot was the same. It took truly little time to be completely comfortable with the shaft. Couldn’t be happy with making the leap to this CF shaft. I guess the only complaint I have is that the shaft is slightly wider than my Lucasi cue. I actually slightly sanded it down so there was a smoother transition at the joint. Regardless, I’m super happy with it, and no more dings!

    I am very pleased that

Honestly, i am very pleased that I finally decided to buy this shaft, although is is very pricey. It’s performance is just as advertised. It feels and sounds just like my old wooden shaft. I like the control of the cue-ball with minimum shaft deflection. I wasn’t sure if I would like to aim with the black shaft, but it is actually easier. In a cooler room, like in my basement, I don’t use the glove. The shaft is smooth and slick enough without the glove. In a warmer room, like is a pool hall, I do use a glove, because it becomes a bit sticky. One regret is that I have not switched a tip. The shaft comes with Pechauer Medium Gold tip. I am not crazy about it, but will give it few more weeks of playing to see if I will adjust, especially on long draws and extreme English. But, as far as the shaft is concerned, I am very satisfied with its performance.

    I’ve been reluctant to switch

Honestly, i’ve been reluctant to switch to carbon fiber but now I’m so glad I did. My friend with the “kitty cat” brand stick said I bought the wrong one, then he tried mine and declared it as fine or better

    Only played with it for

Only played with it for a week but as soon as I contact it I could tell I had made a decent choice. My son is a bettrr player so I let him gave it he said it gives him the opportunity to play several shots he was incapable of playing before. And the feel I so much better. I might have to order another one.

Just do it! You won’t regret it.

I was unsure that I wanted to invest this type of money on a shaft. I have P custom but it was the original shaft. I purchased mainly for the feel of the low deflection. It’s a wonderful feeling cue and I’m so happy I bought it. Would highly recommend to anyone on the fence.

    Great cue

Hits like wood. Feels more well-built than other carbon fiber shafts.

    Best Carbon Fiber Shaft!!!

From my perspective, i was hesitant before purchasing this because of the cost but this is the finest carbon fiber shaft in my opinion. Deflection is low and the ding after striking the cue ball is little to none. The shaft has a wood feel to it. One thing is if your not used to shooting with 11.8mm shaft then there will be an adjustment period. I definitely would vouch for this shaft for anyone on the fence. You won’t regret it!

Made the plunge for carbon fiber and very happy I did!!!!!

Finally pulled the trigger and really happy I did. It’s a lot of money but worth it. The feel is just like wood and sound is durable not like the 2 others I tried. The Rogue is definitely the way to go. It takes a little time to adjust to but well worth it.

    Rogue 11.8

Love it. Gives a little feedback when you hit the cue. Was one of things that other carbon fiber shafts didn’t do that ultimately made me choose this one. Still adjusting to the low deflection but I can tell after I get used to it my game will improve through better potting and cue ball control.

    I recently purchased the Rogue

In my experience, i recently purchased the Rogue 11.8 shaft. The Pooldawg associates on the phone were wonderful to talk with and knew the item well. The carbon fiber shaft is as advertised. Has a fluid slick feel really similar to the traditional wood. I was concerned about a hollow feel on the contact but that’s not the case at all. It’s truly solid. The thinner diameter shaft is taking some time to get used to, but once I get it dialed in, it’ll be great. I upgraded to a soft tip that’s helping to get the action I was looking for. Thanks.

    Do it.

My friends are calling it the magic wand. It’s really fantastic, the feel, touch, sound. Think I will add a kamui tip then this thing will really rip. Level up!

The AMAZING Rogue Carbon Fiber Shaft!

I own 19 playing cues and the Rogue CF Shaft is on 7 of them due to the amazing color, joint collar, appears, quality and solid feel pocket! The Jade Medium Tip can draw the stick ball the length of the table and will hold its own against the Kamui Black Tip, so give it a try before you change it out. The 11. 8 and 12. 4 are both solid choices, and I own both, but I lean a little more toward the 11. 8 for precise placement. If you don’t like the GOLD Rogue Logo, you can remove it with Bike Spirits Spray Cleaner & Polish and microfiber cloth, then replace it with the color of your choice using a CRAYOLA CRAYON (yes, a CRAYON. . . I called Pechauer to learn this information) and a soft microfiber cloth. The Rogue is a TOP-OF-THE-LINE CF SHAFT!
