Decent

To be frank, i like to only use this pool cue as a jump stick since the phenolic puts marks and dings in the pool cue ball. However it generates much power in the break and works a fine as jump stick.

Truly satisfied!

From my perspective, i love this break jump cue. It’s my first one and has significantly improved my break. I’ve made the 8 ball on break twice with it so far and even made 7 balls in on the break on a bar box at my favorite sports pub. Also I know this is not it’s intended use but it’s something I like about the cue: the two piece forearm comes in handy when I play at a friends house that has an 8 footer in a room slightly too small for shots where the cue ball is frozen on the side rails no more elevated shots or bumping the wall with my regular playing cue 😛

Break jump cue

so far I have bought a Joss cue stick stick and an Action Break jump cue. I have won the last 2 tournaments I have played in winning over $ 500.00. So they have already paid for themselves. The beak/jump took a little getting used to because of the tip and I’m used to just using my regular cue to jump with, but once I got a feel for it I pocket a ball on the break just about every time and the stick ball stays pretty much in the center of the table. Very satisfied with my purchases and recommend.

Fun jump/break cue

I have to say, never owned a break/jump cue stick stick before but glad I got it! Sure you go from one stick to another for various shots, it does the job. Still learning the break part of 8 ball but jumping is more simpler than I thought. Sturdy cue stick and a good brand. Don’t think you have to have the most expensive break/jump pool cue stick. Treat it right like anything else you own.

I went light at 19

I went light at 19 oz looking for shaft speed to generate power instead of weight. might change bolt later but for now I’m very happy with ball spread keeping a little power in reserve for fine control. the cue ball has stayed pretty central on the table also 4/5 breaks in the one session I have had. joint,tip,ferrule, wrap all look like what I wanted and ordered. has a nice rear weight balance to it. made in China:( have to reserve a star for question of long term durability but my impression today is 5 star

Action Actbj56 Pool cue

Pleasant looking cue, breaks nicely with the Samsara tip. Ordered weight of 18oz, actual weight on my postal scale is 17.8oz. – not that big of a deal for me. Also ordered; one 1oz and a 2oz weight bolts but instead received three separate 1oz bolts. To see what weight was currently installed, I found that taking the butt cap off was a struggle – having to pry it off quite gingerly with a flat tip screw driver so as not to mare the butt. The existing weight bolt is a full 8 3/4 inches into the butt needing at least a 9 inch hex wrench to remove it – something I definitely don’t have on hand. Butt cap had to be re-seated using a rubber mallet. I’m confident PoolDawg will work out these issues with me.

To be frank, i am very satisfied with this stick. I like the way it looks the way it feels and the snap it makes on contact with the cue ball. The ball seems to jump off of the tip even if you use something less than a banzai striking action as I do. Glad I bought it.

Awesome Value

I must admit, have had my Break/Jump Cue for about a month already am sinking 3 – 6 balls almost every break. As well as the jump stick has saved at 4 of my last 9 games from giving ball-in-hand during league play. Was considering spending almost $200 on a Stinger glad I picked up my ‘Hammer’.

Honestly, changed my breaks tremendously. I was using a house pool cue to break resulting in a lot of dry breaks. With the new pool cue I’m making one or two balls on every break. sometimes more. There are still times I come up dry but not often.

Needed another Break Pool cue upgraded

Needed another Break Cue, upgraded the tip with a Kamui Black Clear Hard. Love to break action! Haven’t tried the Jump Cue for jumping yet, but did need to use it for an obstructed shot during an APA league match. Very pleased with this cue stick!

Very reliable break cue stick, tip is hard and solid weight. The weight bolts are removable so you can reduce the weight if needed.

Break/jump cue

I am fairly new to playing, but could tell the difference immediately when breaking with this cue stick compared to my normal playing cue. The only reason it gets a 4 star is because I was unable to remove the weight bolt. Customer service was amazing and sent me a new cue stick right away.

I’m not a big person so I struggle getting power behind my break with this cue i must say the just launches off the end of the cue stick, others who I’ve let try it have also been impressed ( now I did upgrade the tip to a samsara ) that being said I would highly recommend this cue
