I have had my table since 2011. Every time I played I would mutter – I need a break pool cue. When I finally decided to buy one there were so many choices. I went with the Eight Ball Mafia cue because it is only a few ounces heavier than my shooting cue. The cue is fantastic. I have never had better breaks. If you don’t need a massive 25, go with the Eight Ball. It will get the job done for you.

Heavy Breaker
Been looking for a heavy breaker since husband doesn’t use a lot of force when striking the rack. The cue looks superb – nice graphics – and gets a lot of attention – more so as soon as someone lifts it. Feels like a workout when using to break. Not 5 stars cause it would have been better with a rubber grip since the weight makes it slide off easily off the bridge hand since the linen wrap is so effortless. Just takes a little tap though to spread the balls on a break. Bought as a team breaker stick and it’s split 7-8 on who prefers the heavier breaker.

I bought this break stick
I bought this break stick in Early March and wanted to have time to really get a feel for it before I sent a review, I’ve never used a break cue stick before, however this has improved my break. Almost always pocket a ball now. I like the weight and feel of the pool cue. It took a little getting used to with the phenolic tip and ferrule combo, but with a little practice it wasn’t too bad. Make sure you chalk it up well before each break. I suggest concentrating on hitting the cue ball in the center until you get used to the feel of the tip
