Finally a CF with FEEL
The sound and vibration a pool cue makes are vital to me. I need that feedback. I tried several of the popular CF shafts. Nothing really came close to what I wanted until the Black. This shaft sounds like solid wood and it resonates like wood. It plays superbly—very low deflection and it delivers what I put in, nothing extra. I am amazed how much better this shaft handles than every other CF I tried.

In my experience, i bought one last december. ive owned both revos ‘ cuetec cynergy ‘ pechauer rogue 11.8mm ‘ and mezz ignite. the ignite is too flexible. the rogue hits good. must ciean w windex. no aicohol. revos truly light in the tip end. spin a power excellent.cuetec hits equivalent to jacoby.but jacoby is the smoothest cf ive tried so far. lots of power. i rate it#1.so far.

I found out truly quick
Truthfully, i found out really quick how much I used to over compensate for defection! Missed a couple of shots in league forgetting all about it! Asked my teammate if that’s what I was doing and he said it’s exactly what I was doing and my last shaft was the Jacoby 2nd gen shaft! That’s how much less deflection this had! I’m a average B player but I think this will definitely help my game with practice! I know it’s not a magic want but one can hope right!

This shaft and Kamui soft tip offer a level of ball control I didn’t know was possible. Combine with a high craftsmanship chalk like the Kamui Roku 6 and the english on the ball becomes a whole new level of play. The low deflection performs to my natural playing style better than traditional wood and results in fewer misses especially over distance offering better accuracy and consistency. A serious shaft for a serious player but can help improve anyones game. Fit my Dale Perry radius thread base perfectly.

In my experience, purchased the Black shaft over the other ones I’ve tried (Cuetec Cynergy, Predator Revo) because this one seemed to hit more like the wood shafts I was used to but with limited deflection. The shaft does perfectly what I want it to when I want to do it, I have found a new level of control and confidence with this shaft, even on high-speed shots, and I’m definitely a believer. A+

I will never go back to a wood shaft. Ever. It’s that obvious of an improvement in consistency. Not sure how others prefer wood? Took about an entire hour to make transition from Predator 314/3. Not to knock wood shafts but it was just that obvious to me the benefits but of course use what you like. In fact keep hitting em with wood. Take all the advantages I can get 🤡🤙

Ordered the CF shaft for a long cherished custom ordered Ginacue . Thought I needed to try one . The shaft fit perfectly and the delivery time was quick on this order . There is definitely a different hit between the CF and maple shaft . Not better , just different. There does seem to be less deflection. Came with a high make tip . Seems a little mismatched with butt rings but no problem here .

Jacoby Quality
In my experience, i have a had a few Jacoby shafts, and they have all been quality. This carbon fiber chart is definitely up to Jacoby standards. Hits more like wood than other carbon fiber shafts, and the taper is extremely comfortable. I am still on the fence about the soft tip, I replaced the soft tip that came on my Revo, might do the same with this one. It took me a while to adjust my aim for no ferrule with my Revo shaft, and now I need to adjust back to aiming with a ferrule with the Jacoby! But that’s my problem, the shaft plays great.

Honestly, finally received my Jacoby shaft after it was delivered to family in the US (UK based). It was well valued at the wait. I haven’t played yet, but the quality of the shaft stands out and it just fits like a glove with my Jacoby butt. Can’t wait to play with it. Jacoby Black 12.3 (Be Different)
Having used a Koda KD33 for over a year I feel that I do not need to use as much energy to move balls around with the Jacoby. The main reason I choose the Jacoby Black is because of the custom 19” taper which is useful when using a long hand bridge. Getting used to the 12.3mm tip takes some time thought you could be more precise with it. In general the pool cue strike feels good and slick (no more need to wax the shaft) and be in need of cleaning it regularly with alcohol or cleaning sponge.

From my perspective, the delivery was spot on. It was signature-only which is precisely what u want if there’s any chance of theft in your development. Packaging was mint. The shaft itself looks amazing and sleek. Not quite as dark black as it looks in the picture, has a bit of shine in certain light. Compared this to my friends Defy carbon shaft and the difference is clear. It’s a smoother stroke, more aesthetic, sounds sooo decent. And the feel is just incredible. The longer pro taper makes a huge difference and the kamui soft tip is just what I wanted. I got the 5/14 and it screwed in and flushed perfectly with my Joss cue butt.

Love the 19” inch tapper which allows me to shoot long shots without the need for a bridge (mostly use a wheel bridge or no bridge except when going over a ball). A drawback is the shaft does not have serial number engraved like some Chinese produced shafts, it would help.
