Description

The Element Series Numbers Matching Collection brings the four cues of the series together as one limited set: Fire, Water, Earth and Air. The series is built on Paul F. Drexler’s fully cored method, and the collection is offered as a limited, numbers matching set.

Each cue is fully cored, with a curly maple forearm built on a laminated maple core, a Double Deco ring joint, an aluminum Radial pin by Uniloc and a high impact modified acrylic butt plate that carries the limited edition number. The wrapless handles differ by element. Fire and Earth use South American cocobolo, Water uses premium curly maple and Air uses West African ebony. Stone inlay counts also vary, from 64 in Fire to 68 in Water and 80 in each of Earth and Air.

All four cues play with Viking’s ViKORE low deflection shaft, a 12 to 14 inch pro taper, a Tiger Everest medium tip and a Viking SUPER ferrule. Each has a three coat ultra-violet urethane finish and a threaded rubber bumper, and Viking lists a limited PFD joint protector set among the extras. The lifetime warranty includes warpage.

Questions about this cue

What joint does the Element Series - Numbers Matching Collection use?

It uses a Radial joint. That means any Radial shaft will thread straight onto this butt, so you can add a spare or upgrade later without changing cues. If you are matching a shaft you already own, check its pin against Radial before ordering — joints are not cross-compatible.

What shaft diameter is the Element Series - Numbers Matching Collection?

This cue ships with a 12.75mm shaft. Thinner shafts put more spin on the cue ball and feel crisper through the stroke; larger diameters feel fuller and are more forgiving on off-centre hits. Neither is better — it comes down to how you like the cue to hit.

Is this a carbon fiber or wood shaft cue?

The Element Series - Numbers Matching Collection comes with a Classic Wood shaft. Carbon fiber will not warp, ignores humidity and deflects less; quality maple gives the traditional feel a lot of players still prefer. Both play at a high level, so pick the one that matches how you want the cue to feel.

What is the Element Series - Numbers Matching Collection built for?

It is set up as a playing cue. Playing cues are balanced for control on shot-making, break cues are heavier with a harder tip for power transfer, and jump cues are short and light to get the cue ball airborne. Using the right one also protects your playing cue from break wear.

What kind of grip does it have?

The grip is wrapless. Irish linen wicks sweat and stays tacky, leather is plush and premium, and a no-wrap finish is fast and needs no maintenance. If your hands run warm, linen is usually the safer pick.

Is Quarter King an authorized Viking dealer?

Yes. We are an authorized Viking dealer, so this cue is genuine and carries the full manufacturer warranty against warpage and defects in workmanship. Warranty claims go through us — you do not have to deal with the factory yourself.

How fast does it ship, and can I return it?

Shipping is free on orders over $98 in the contiguous US, $5.50 flat otherwise, and you get tracking as soon as it moves. Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery on unchalked, unused product — contact us first for a return authorization so it is credited without delay. Because this one is over $600, a 10% restocking fee applies to the return.

Compatible Shafts

This cue uses a Radial joint, so these shafts thread straight onto it. Not sure? Send us the cue and we will confirm the fit before you buy.
