The Table
The 9-foot Diamond Professional is the most respected tournament table in pool. It meets or exceeds every Billiard Congress of America specification and has been the table of choice for over 500 major tournaments — including Matchroom's US Open Pool Championship and the legendary Derby City Classic. When commentators say "the table plays tough," this is the table they mean.
Under the cloth is 1" one-piece (or 30mm three-piece) Brazilian slate, machined top and bottom, riding on massive 5" laminated beams. Rails come in genuine Oak, Cherry, Maple, Mahogany, Walnut, Rosewood, or Dymondwood with solid corian diamond sights and zero metal ornamentation — nothing to catch light or distract from the shot.

No. We sell Diamond tables only to customers in eastern North Carolina — roughly the coast and the counties east of I-95, from Southport and Oak Island up through Wilmington, Jacksonville, New Bern, Morehead City and Greenville, and west to Fayetteville. Every table includes delivery and factory-spec installation by our crew, which is why we don't ship them. Outside our area? Yes. The 9' Professional is Diamond's tournament flagship — used at 500+ major events, including Matchroom World Nineball Tour stops like the US Open Pool Championship and the Derby City Classic hosted by Diamond itself.
The Professional is a drop-pocket table with leather baskets that hold a full rack. If you want ball return, look at the Pro-Am — it plays identically.
Diamond offers 18 factory stains across Cherry, Maple, Oak, and Sapele Mahogany hardwoods, plus Dymondwood. We'll walk you through current samples when you request a quote.
