Action ACTB07 Birch One-Piece Cue

Original price was: $215.00.Current price is: $193.50.

The Action ACTB07 is a one-piece birch cue available in 18oz, 19oz, 20oz, and 21oz, designed for bar boxes, training rooms, and anyone who wants a dedicated stick that won’t get mistaken for a house cue. Its sealed birch shaft and matching butt sleeve hold up to the humidity that warps cheaper sticks, and the 13mm leather tip plays consistently once broken in. Between the one-piece build and the BUMPACT plug bumper, it’s a no-nonsense spare for commercial rooms or a sturdy first cue for a new player who isn’t ready to commit to a two-piece setup yet.

The Action ACTB07 Birch One-Piece Cue is a Action playing cue sold by Quarter King Billiards. It has a 13.00mm classic wood shaft. It is in stock at $194, with free shipping over $98 and 30-day returns.

Description

Among Action’s one-piece cues, the ACTB07 keeps things basic with no joint to worry about. Spec-wise the ACTB07 carries a 13mm classic wood shaft and a natural finish. Action names this one the Birch, one of a small run of one-piece cues identified by wood species instead of a color or series label.

There’s no joint to loosen over time, which suits a cue that’s going to get shared and knocked around. It won’t match the feel of a two-piece playing cue, but that’s not really the job it’s built for. We’re currently out of stock on the ACTB07, though other Action cues in this same line are usually in stock. Nothing about the ACTB07 strays from Action’s typical construction beyond the details already listed here.

Questions about this cue

What shaft diameter is the Action ACTB07 Birch One-Piece Cue?

This cue ships with a 13.00mm shaft. Thinner shafts put more spin on the cue ball and feel crisper through the stroke; larger diameters feel fuller and are more forgiving on off-centre hits. Neither is better — it comes down to how you like the cue to hit.

Is this a carbon fiber or wood shaft cue?

The Action ACTB07 Birch One-Piece Cue comes with a Classic Wood shaft. Carbon fiber will not warp, ignores humidity and deflects less; quality maple gives the traditional feel a lot of players still prefer. Both play at a high level, so pick the one that matches how you want the cue to feel.

What is the Action ACTB07 Birch One-Piece Cue built for?

It is set up as a playing cue. Playing cues are balanced for control on shot-making, break cues are heavier with a harder tip for power transfer, and jump cues are short and light to get the cue ball airborne. Using the right one also protects your playing cue from break wear.
