The Action ACTBJW Break/Jump Cue is a Action break, jump cue sold by Quarter King Billiards. It has a Action Quick Release joint and a 13.00mm classic wood shaft. It is in stock at $239, with free shipping over $98 and 30-day returns.

Description

Among Action’s break cues, the ACTBJW is set up to absorb break shots so a player’s main cue stays untouched. The ACTBJW comes with an Action quick-release joint, a 13mm classic wood shaft, a linen wrap, and your choice of brown, black or tan.

Keeping a separate break cue like this protects the tip and ferrule of a main playing cue from repeated hard contact. Since it’s not meant for finesse shots, it shouldn’t be judged against a premium playing cue’s feel. At about $240, the ACTBJW is in stock and ready to ship out right away.

  3. Morgan B. –

    I really like the stick

I really like the stick but the shaft hade a dent in it

  4. Jim K. –

    Fine Break Pool cue

In my experience, the stick has most of the features I want – quick release joints for I don’t have time to screw around, phenolic tip cause it’s supposed to, and light weight for speed-smashing breaks! Now if it had a graphite (or fiberglass, or carbon) shaft, it would get Five Stars!

  5. Tom M. –

    Superb break pool cue

I downgraded from a 25oz break cue to this one in 19oz with a Samsara hard break tip and absolutely am impressed by it. All of my teammates are loving it as effectively!

  6. Rick R. –

    Seems to be a pretty

I have to say, seems to be a pretty solid break stick. I’m happy with it. It does have a good tip.

This cue is offered in WBOL, Yes. A lighter cue is easier to accelerate for a whippy, spin-friendly stroke; a heavier cue plants more solidly and drives the cue ball with less effort. Most players settle between 19 and 20 ounces.

Questions about this cue

What joint does the Action ACTBJW Break/Jump Cue use?

It uses a Action Quick Release joint. That means any Action Quick Release shaft will thread straight onto this butt, so you can add a spare or upgrade later without changing cues. If you are matching a shaft you already own, check its pin against Action Quick Release before ordering — joints are not cross-compatible.

What shaft diameter is the Action ACTBJW Break/Jump Cue?

This cue ships with a 13.00mm shaft. Thinner shafts put more spin on the cue ball and feel crisper through the stroke; larger diameters feel fuller and are more forgiving on off-centre hits. Neither is better — it comes down to how you like the cue to hit.

Is this a carbon fiber or wood shaft cue?

The Action ACTBJW Break/Jump Cue comes with a Classic Wood shaft. Carbon fiber will not warp, ignores humidity and deflects less; quality maple gives the traditional feel a lot of players still prefer. Both play at a high level, so pick the one that matches how you want the cue to feel.

What is the Action ACTBJW Break/Jump Cue built for?

It is set up as a break, jump cue. Playing cues are balanced for control on shot-making, break cues are heavier with a harder tip for power transfer, and jump cues are short and light to get the cue ball airborne. Using the right one also protects your playing cue from break wear.

What kind of grip does it have?

The grip is linen wrap. Irish linen wicks sweat and stays tacky, leather is plush and premium, and a no-wrap finish is fast and needs no maintenance. If your hands run warm, linen is usually the safer pick.

Is Quarter King an authorized Action dealer?

Yes. We are an authorized Action dealer, so this cue is genuine and carries the full manufacturer warranty against warpage and defects in workmanship. Warranty claims go through us — you do not have to deal with the factory yourself.

How fast does it ship, and can I return it?

Shipping is free on orders over $98 in the contiguous US, $5.50 flat otherwise, and you get tracking as soon as it moves. Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery on unchalked, unused product — contact us first for a return authorization so it is credited without delay.
