Black & White Renga is the wrapless entry in Dufferin’s 400 Series, pairing the series’ usual 13mm classic wood shaft with a continuous black finish and no wrap material at all. Skipping the wrap keeps the grip section smooth and consistent with the rest of the shaft, which some players prefer over the added texture of linen or leather. It carries the same 400 Series pricing as its wrapped series-mates, about $200, so the choice between this and something like Nightframe or Emberwood really comes down to wrap preference rather than build quality.
