Description
Dufferin’s Oxblood cue is a two-piece house cue built on a 5/16×18 joint, which lets the shaft separate from the butt for storage and travel between tables. The shaft is 13mm classic wood, and the grip section is wrapped in nylon, a durable, low-maintenance material that resists sweat and wear better than exposed wood. The finish on this one falls in the silver family, giving it a cooler look than some of Dufferin’s other house cues. Nylon-wrapped two-piece cues like this are the backbone of a lot of pool halls and rec rooms because they are inexpensive to replace and simple to maintain in numbers. At about $150, it works well for outfitting a table that sees a lot of casual play, or as a step up from a bar’s oldest loaner cues.
