Elite ELSNK03 pool cue featuring Ash with European taper shaft. traditional construction.

SKU: ELSNK03 Categories: , Brand:

The Elite ELSNK03 Snooker Cue is a Elite playing cue sold by Quarter King Billiards. It has a 5/16X18 joint and a 10.00mm classic wood shaft. It is in stock at $149, with free shipping over $98 and 30-day returns.

Description

Brown and tan set the Elite ELSNK03 apart from the plain black snooker cue lower in Elite’s range, though the build underneath is the same snooker specific spec, an ash shaft with a European taper, 10.00mm at the tip, joined at 5/16×18 and left wrapless. That taper profile is built for the flatter, more gradual diameter change snooker players expect compared to a pool cue’s shorter pro taper. At about $148, in stock now, it sits mid pack in Elite’s snooker lineup, a step up in finish from the entry level black cue without moving into the pricier options above it.

  1. Jesse A. –

    Terrific on a budget

I must admit, this snooker stick operates well for pool players who are learning or casually play snooker. Great tip (10 mm is more comfy than 9mm of some snooker cues). Contact is like all snooker cues I’ve hit with – well-built with a bit of a “plunk”. It came deadly straight, the grain is matched. The 1/2 joint distance works well to fit into a pool players cue case rather than the more popular 3/4 snooker joint location.

  2. Steve B. –

    Good cue

overall solid cue, marked it down 1 star as the texture of the open grain makes the overall feel less smooth than it should be – as in an uneven surface

  3. Jim N. –

    Elite Snooker Cue

Solid well balanced. Solid quality for the price.

    I ordered the Elite ELSNK03

I ordered the Elite ELSNK03 Snooker Cue stick on Dec 18, 2020. I mistakenly chose USPS as a shipper. They gave us a Dec 28 delivery date which was very acceptable considering. I have checked the tracking number everyday since Dec 28 and can’t get any progress since Dec 25. I’m sure this pool cue will be great as the others I have purchased over the years. My warning is to pay the extra and Never ship with USPS as this is Jan 7,2021 and the update hasn’t changed with them. I could have walked from Colorado to Southern Missouri by now.

    Betsy my new cue.

The cue is a beaut. I love how the grain in the English Ash is continued in the shaft from the handle. I played two games last Wednesday with my friend, Ian, and beat him both games. I have not yet lost with this wonderful pool cue. It may only be two games, but I feel great.Betsy is the cue’s name after Davy Crockett’s rifle. Thank you truly much.

    I appreciate it

Finest pool cue I can ever ask for. This for the first time I am buying a cue and everyone knows that we cannot trust 100% what we see online will be the same we going to get. But, Pooldawg proved me wrong. I don’t know how I came across this website but it was a quite awesome random event happened to me. The quality is remarkable. Later next week I have ordered a pool cue case and it was a nice deal and decent look. Thanks Pooldawg & team.

    Like this one

Purchased four different cues and am still evaluating, but this is my favorite so far. Its price is in the middle of the cues purchased, so it represents a quality value to me.

Questions about this cue

What joint does the Elite ELSNK03 Snooker Cue use?

It uses a 5/16X18 joint. That means any 5/16X18 shaft will thread straight onto this butt, so you can add a spare or upgrade later without changing cues. If you are matching a shaft you already own, check its pin against 5/16X18 before ordering — joints are not cross-compatible.

What shaft diameter is the Elite ELSNK03 Snooker Cue?

This cue ships with a 10.00mm shaft. Thinner shafts put more spin on the cue ball and feel crisper through the stroke; larger diameters feel fuller and are more forgiving on off-centre hits. Neither is better — it comes down to how you like the cue to hit.

Is this a carbon fiber or wood shaft cue?

The Elite ELSNK03 Snooker Cue comes with a Classic Wood shaft. Carbon fiber will not warp, ignores humidity and deflects less; quality maple gives the traditional feel a lot of players still prefer. Both play at a high level, so pick the one that matches how you want the cue to feel.

What is the Elite ELSNK03 Snooker Cue built for?

It is set up as a playing cue. Playing cues are balanced for control on shot-making, break cues are heavier with a harder tip for power transfer, and jump cues are short and light to get the cue ball airborne. Using the right one also protects your playing cue from break wear.

What kind of grip does it have?

The grip is wrapless. Irish linen wicks sweat and stays tacky, leather is plush and premium, and a no-wrap finish is fast and needs no maintenance. If your hands run warm, linen is usually the safer pick.

Is Quarter King an authorized Elite dealer?

Yes. We are an authorized Elite dealer, so this cue is genuine and carries the full manufacturer warranty against warpage and defects in workmanship. Warranty claims go through us — you do not have to deal with the factory yourself.

How fast does it ship, and can I return it?

Shipping is free on orders over $98 in the contiguous US, $5.50 flat otherwise, and you get tracking as soon as it moves. Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery on unchalked, unused product — contact us first for a return authorization so it is credited without delay.

Compatible Shafts

This cue uses a 5/16X18 joint, so these shafts thread straight onto it. Not sure? Send us the cue and we will confirm the fit before you buy.
