The Fury FUCX04 Cue is a Fury playing cue sold by Quarter King Billiards. It has a 3/8 x 8 joint and a 13.00mm classic wood shaft. It lists at $509, with free shipping over $98 and 30-day returns.

Description

Brown, black, and red combine on the Fury FUCX04 for a deeper, more muted palette than the orange or yellow accents on other CX Series cues. It shares the series’ core build, a 3/8×8 joint, a 13.00mm Classic Wood shaft, and a linen wrap for grip, with color really the main point of difference between CX models. That fuller 13mm shaft diameter gives more contact on the cue ball than Fury’s narrower 12.50mm cues in the TW and LC lines, a spec some players prefer for a solid, straightforward hit. Priced at about $510, the FUCX04 currently sits out of stock along with the rest of its series.

Weight & Balance

This cue is offered in WBKAT, Weight Changeable. A lighter cue is easier to accelerate for a whippy, spin-friendly stroke; a heavier cue plants more solidly and drives the cue ball with less effort. Most players settle between 19 and 20 ounces.

Questions about this cue

What joint does the Fury FUCX04 Cue use?

It uses a 3/8 x 8 joint. That means any 3/8 x 8 shaft will thread straight onto this butt, so you can add a spare or upgrade later without changing cues. If you are matching a shaft you already own, check its pin against 3/8 x 8 before ordering — joints are not cross-compatible.

What shaft diameter is the Fury FUCX04 Cue?

This cue ships with a 13.00mm shaft. Thinner shafts put more spin on the cue ball and feel crisper through the stroke; larger diameters feel fuller and are more forgiving on off-centre hits. Neither is better — it comes down to how you like the cue to hit.

Is this a carbon fiber or wood shaft cue?

The Fury FUCX04 Cue comes with a Classic Wood shaft. Carbon fiber will not warp, ignores humidity and deflects less; quality maple gives the traditional feel a lot of players still prefer. Both play at a high level, so pick the one that matches how you want the cue to feel.

What is the Fury FUCX04 Cue built for?

It is set up as a playing cue. Playing cues are balanced for control on shot-making, break cues are heavier with a harder tip for power transfer, and jump cues are short and light to get the cue ball airborne. Using the right one also protects your playing cue from break wear.

What kind of grip does it have?

The grip is linen wrap. Irish linen wicks sweat and stays tacky, leather is plush and premium, and a no-wrap finish is fast and needs no maintenance. If your hands run warm, linen is usually the safer pick.

Is Quarter King an authorized Fury dealer?

Yes. We are an authorized Fury dealer, so this cue is genuine and carries the full manufacturer warranty against warpage and defects in workmanship. Warranty claims go through us — you do not have to deal with the factory yourself.

How fast does it ship, and can I return it?

Shipping is free on orders over $98 in the contiguous US, $5.50 flat otherwise, and you get tracking as soon as it moves. Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery on unchalked, unused product — contact us first for a return authorization so it is credited without delay.
