The Havoc One-Piece Maple Shorty Cue is a Havoc playing cue sold by Quarter King Billiards. It has a 13.00mm classic wood shaft. It is in stock at $26, with free shipping over $98 and 30-day returns.
The HVM52 rounds out Havoc’s one-piece maple shorty cues in this lineup, built on the same 13mm classic wood shaft and single-piece design as the HVM36 and HVM42 models. Because it is one solid piece rather than a two-piece cue with a joint, there is less to inspect or tighten before play, which is part of why shorty cues like this stay popular in bars and rec rooms. It is currently out of stock, so availability may lag behind the rest of the shorty lineup for a while.

This cue ships with a 13.00mm shaft. Thinner shafts put more spin on the cue ball and feel crisper through the stroke; larger diameters feel fuller and are more forgiving on off-centre hits. Neither is better — it comes down to how you like the cue to hit.
The Havoc One-Piece Maple Shorty Cue comes with a Classic Wood shaft. Carbon fiber will not warp, ignores humidity and deflects less; quality maple gives the traditional feel a lot of players still prefer. Both play at a high level, so pick the one that matches how you want the cue to feel.
It is set up as a playing cue. Playing cues are balanced for control on shot-making, break cues are heavier with a harder tip for power transfer, and jump cues are short and light to get the cue ball airborne. Using the right one also protects your playing cue from break wear.
