The Jacoby JCBJMP Jump Cue is a Jacoby jump cue sold by Quarter King Billiards. It has a Radial joint and a 13.00mm classic wood shaft. It lists at $765, with free shipping over $98 and 30-day returns.

Description

The Jacoby JCBJMP is a dedicated jump cue, not a playing cue, built for the single task of popping the cue ball over an obstruction. It is finished in black with a linen wrap, running a 13.00mm classic wood shaft joined through a radial pin, and Jacoby specs it with a G10 tip and brass ferrule for the hard, low-deflection contact a jump shot needs. Made in the USA like the rest of Jacoby’s lineup, it is built shorter and lighter than a full-length cue so it can be swung quickly without disturbing surrounding balls. A player who already carries a playing cue and a separate break cue rounds out the kit with a jumper like this one for shots neither of those two can make. It is currently out of stock, priced at about $770.

Questions about this cue

What joint does the Jacoby JCBJMP Jump Cue use?

It uses a Radial joint. That means any Radial shaft will thread straight onto this butt, so you can add a spare or upgrade later without changing cues. If you are matching a shaft you already own, check its pin against Radial before ordering — joints are not cross-compatible.

What shaft diameter is the Jacoby JCBJMP Jump Cue?

This cue ships with a 13.00mm shaft. Thinner shafts put more spin on the cue ball and feel crisper through the stroke; larger diameters feel fuller and are more forgiving on off-centre hits. Neither is better — it comes down to how you like the cue to hit.

Is this a carbon fiber or wood shaft cue?

The Jacoby JCBJMP Jump Cue comes with a Classic Wood shaft. Carbon fiber will not warp, ignores humidity and deflects less; quality maple gives the traditional feel a lot of players still prefer. Both play at a high level, so pick the one that matches how you want the cue to feel.

What is the Jacoby JCBJMP Jump Cue built for?

It is set up as a jump cue. Playing cues are balanced for control on shot-making, break cues are heavier with a harder tip for power transfer, and jump cues are short and light to get the cue ball airborne. Using the right one also protects your playing cue from break wear.

What kind of grip does it have?

The grip is linen wrap. Irish linen wicks sweat and stays tacky, leather is plush and premium, and a no-wrap finish is fast and needs no maintenance. If your hands run warm, linen is usually the safer pick.

Is Quarter King an authorized Jacoby dealer?

Yes. We are an authorized Jacoby dealer, so this cue is genuine and carries the full manufacturer warranty against warpage and defects in workmanship. Warranty claims go through us — you do not have to deal with the factory yourself.

How fast does it ship, and can I return it?

Shipping is free on orders over $98 in the contiguous US, $5.50 flat otherwise, and you get tracking as soon as it moves. Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery on unchalked, unused product — contact us first for a return authorization so it is credited without delay. Because this one is over $600, a 10% restocking fee applies to the return.

Compatible Shafts

This cue uses a Radial joint, so these shafts thread straight onto it. Not sure? Send us the cue and we will confirm the fit before you buy.
