The K2 KL103 Low Deflection Pool Cue is a K2 playing cue sold by Quarter King Billiards. It comes in 11.75mm and 12.50mm tip sizes with a Uni-Loc joint. It is in stock at $243, with free shipping over $98 and 30-day returns.

Description

Burgundy smoke is the story of the K2 KL103, a matte burgundy finish with a smoke graphic that gives the cue a restrained, elegant look. As a low deflection pool cue it targets players who want accurate shot-making from a cue that also has some presence. The matte surface avoids gloss, so the burgundy reads soft rather than shiny.

The shaft runs 29 inches and uses K2’s Tru Path low-deflection maple design, topped with a 12.5 mm Tiger Everest tip. An 11.75 mm tip is the other choice if you prefer it. A 10 mm matte black collar sits where the shaft meets the Uni-Loc quick-release joint. Below that, the handle is wrapless in matte black, and the butt carries a black Implex cap and a compression bumper.

Red, grey and black are the listed colors, with burgundy leading the look. Select 18, 19, 20 or 21 oz at checkout. The 10-year warranty covers warpage, so the KL103 arrives with real support behind it if the wood ever moves.

Questions about this cue

What joint does the K2 KL103 Low Deflection Pool Cue use?

It uses a Uni-Loc joint. That means any Uni-Loc shaft will thread straight onto this butt, so you can add a spare or upgrade later without changing cues. If you are matching a shaft you already own, check its pin against Uni-Loc before ordering — joints are not cross-compatible.

What shaft diameter is the K2 KL103 Low Deflection Pool Cue?

This cue ships with a 11.75mm, 12.50mm shaft. Thinner shafts put more spin on the cue ball and feel crisper through the stroke; larger diameters feel fuller and are more forgiving on off-centre hits. Neither is better — it comes down to how you like the cue to hit.

Is this a carbon fiber or wood shaft cue?

The K2 KL103 Low Deflection Pool Cue comes with a Classic Wood shaft. Carbon fiber will not warp, ignores humidity and deflects less; quality maple gives the traditional feel a lot of players still prefer. Both play at a high level, so pick the one that matches how you want the cue to feel.

What is the K2 KL103 Low Deflection Pool Cue built for?

It is set up as a playing cue. Playing cues are balanced for control on shot-making, break cues are heavier with a harder tip for power transfer, and jump cues are short and light to get the cue ball airborne. Using the right one also protects your playing cue from break wear.

What kind of grip does it have?

The grip is wrapless. Irish linen wicks sweat and stays tacky, leather is plush and premium, and a no-wrap finish is fast and needs no maintenance. If your hands run warm, linen is usually the safer pick.

Is Quarter King an authorized K2 dealer?

Yes. We are an authorized K2 dealer, so this cue is genuine and carries the full manufacturer warranty against warpage and defects in workmanship. Warranty claims go through us — you do not have to deal with the factory yourself.

How fast does it ship, and can I return it?

Shipping is free on orders over $98 in the contiguous US, $5.50 flat otherwise, and you get tracking as soon as it moves. Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery on unchalked, unused product — contact us first for a return authorization so it is credited without delay.
