Description

Kamikaze Platinum KZPL is a 14 mm pool cue tip aimed at players who want a tip that keeps its firmness and shape through long sessions. The tip is blue and comes in four softness grades.

It is made from eight layers of pure pig skin taken from the back of the pig, a cut chosen for thick, consistent layers. The material gives a nice action on the hit, and the leather fibers and pores hold chalk well, which helps with cue ball control and extreme English.

Choose HARD, MEDIUM, SOFT or SUPER SOFT when you order, then give the new tip a light scuff before its first session to bring up the leather.

Questions about this cue

What shaft diameter is the Kamikaze Platinum KZPL Pool Cue Tips - 14mm?

This cue ships with a 14.00mm shaft. Thinner shafts put more spin on the cue ball and feel crisper through the stroke; larger diameters feel fuller and are more forgiving on off-centre hits. Neither is better — it comes down to how you like the cue to hit.
