Koda KDHJGM gun metal jump break pool cue, made from hard maple with a bold grey finish and weighing 25 oz by default. A 14 mm phenolic tip, a wrapless handle and a Uni-Loc quick-release joint round out the build. Natural wood tones appear beside the grey in the color listing, and the cue is sold in a single weight. It gives you a cool-toned, heavier cue that breaks the rack and clears a jump without switching sticks.

Description

Gun metal grey defines the Koda KDHJGM, a 25 oz Heavy Hitter jump break cue for players who prefer a cool, bold finish to a colorful one. Hard maple forms the body, and the cue is intended for anyone who wants a little more weight behind a break or a jump.

Starting at the shaft, you will find a 14 mm phenolic tip, followed by a Uni-Loc quick-release joint that joins the butt and shaft securely and separates when you need to pack up. The handle is sleek and wrapless, with no cover over the wood. Koda lists this jump break pool cue at 25 oz by default, and that weight is the main reason to choose it over a standard playing cue.

The finish reads as bold gun metal, and the color listing pairs grey with natural, so the cue looks industrial next to lighter woods. It suits players who want a neutral, understated look in a Heavy Hitter cue, with a weight that is fixed at 25 oz.

Questions about this cue

What joint does the Koda 25oz KDHJGM Jump Break Pool Cue use?

It uses a Uni-Loc joint. That means any Uni-Loc shaft will thread straight onto this butt, so you can add a spare or upgrade later without changing cues. If you are matching a shaft you already own, check its pin against Uni-Loc before ordering — joints are not cross-compatible.

What shaft diameter is the Koda 25oz KDHJGM Jump Break Pool Cue?

This cue ships with a 14.00mm shaft. Thinner shafts put more spin on the cue ball and feel crisper through the stroke; larger diameters feel fuller and are more forgiving on off-centre hits. Neither is better — it comes down to how you like the cue to hit.

Is this a carbon fiber or wood shaft cue?

The Koda 25oz KDHJGM Jump Break Pool Cue comes with a Classic Wood shaft. Carbon fiber will not warp, ignores humidity and deflects less; quality maple gives the traditional feel a lot of players still prefer. Both play at a high level, so pick the one that matches how you want the cue to feel.

What is the Koda 25oz KDHJGM Jump Break Pool Cue built for?

It is set up as a break, jump cue. Playing cues are balanced for control on shot-making, break cues are heavier with a harder tip for power transfer, and jump cues are short and light to get the cue ball airborne. Using the right one also protects your playing cue from break wear.

What kind of grip does it have?

The grip is wrapless. Irish linen wicks sweat and stays tacky, leather is plush and premium, and a no-wrap finish is fast and needs no maintenance. If your hands run warm, linen is usually the safer pick.

Is Quarter King an authorized Koda dealer?

Yes. We are an authorized Koda dealer, so this cue is genuine and carries the full manufacturer warranty against warpage and defects in workmanship. Warranty claims go through us — you do not have to deal with the factory yourself.

How fast does it ship, and can I return it?

Shipping is free on orders over $98 in the contiguous US, $5.50 flat otherwise, and you get tracking as soon as it moves. Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery on unchalked, unused product — contact us first for a return authorization so it is credited without delay.
