Description

Green stands out against black on the Koda KD46GN, a wrapless pool cue that keeps things simple apart from its color. Black forms the base, green supplies the points and the handle, and silver diamond graphics tie the two together. It is aimed at players who want a fresh, modern look from their playing cue without extra complication.

Its shaft is cut from 100% hard rock maple. At 29 inches, it carries a 12.5 mm Le Pro tip and a 10 mm glossy black collar, and a 5/16 x 18 joint connects it to the butt. Black Implex forms the butt cap, and a compression bumper completes the end of the butt.

Green-stained maple points and silver diamond graphics mark the black base, and the Green Envy curly design handle is left wrapless so your grip hand meets maple directly. Choose 18, 19, 20 or 21 oz at checkout. It is a good everyday pool cue for players who want color and no wrap.

Questions about this cue

What joint does the Koda KD46GN Pool Cue use?

It uses a 5/16X18 joint. That means any 5/16X18 shaft will thread straight onto this butt, so you can add a spare or upgrade later without changing cues. If you are matching a shaft you already own, check its pin against 5/16X18 before ordering — joints are not cross-compatible.

What shaft diameter is the Koda KD46GN Pool Cue?

This cue ships with a 12.50mm shaft. Thinner shafts put more spin on the cue ball and feel crisper through the stroke; larger diameters feel fuller and are more forgiving on off-centre hits. Neither is better — it comes down to how you like the cue to hit.

Is this a carbon fiber or wood shaft cue?

The Koda KD46GN Pool Cue comes with a Classic Wood shaft. Carbon fiber will not warp, ignores humidity and deflects less; quality maple gives the traditional feel a lot of players still prefer. Both play at a high level, so pick the one that matches how you want the cue to feel.

What is the Koda KD46GN Pool Cue built for?

It is set up as a playing cue. Playing cues are balanced for control on shot-making, break cues are heavier with a harder tip for power transfer, and jump cues are short and light to get the cue ball airborne. Using the right one also protects your playing cue from break wear.

What kind of grip does it have?

The grip is wrapless. Irish linen wicks sweat and stays tacky, leather is plush and premium, and a no-wrap finish is fast and needs no maintenance. If your hands run warm, linen is usually the safer pick.

Is Quarter King an authorized Koda dealer?

Yes. We are an authorized Koda dealer, so this cue is genuine and carries the full manufacturer warranty against warpage and defects in workmanship. Warranty claims go through us — you do not have to deal with the factory yourself.

How fast does it ship, and can I return it?

Shipping is free on orders over $98 in the contiguous US, $5.50 flat otherwise, and you get tracking as soon as it moves. Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery on unchalked, unused product — contact us first for a return authorization so it is credited without delay.
