Description

Koda’s KDJB10 is a black and Rengas jump break pool cue that separates into three pieces, which suits players who carry one cue for breaking, jumping and everything in between. The butt combines hard maple with Rengas wood under a bold matte finish.

The jump break shaft is cut from 100 percent hard rock Canadian maple and measures 29 inches, carrying a 13.5 mm Bake Lite tip and a 10 mm matte black collar. Dual Uni-Loc quick-release joints make the three-piece layout quick to assemble and quick to take apart. The handle is wrapless, so your grip lands on smooth finished wood, and a black Implex butt cap and a compression bumper finish the ends of the cue.

Black and natural are the listed colors, with Rengas grain showing through the matte surface. Choose 18, 19, 20 or 21 oz at checkout to match the way you stroke. A 10-year warranty that covers warpage comes with the cue, a useful assurance for a stick that takes hard use at the break.

Questions about this cue

What joint does the Koda KDJB10 Jump Break Pool Cue use?

It uses a Uni-Loc joint. That means any Uni-Loc shaft will thread straight onto this butt, so you can add a spare or upgrade later without changing cues. If you are matching a shaft you already own, check its pin against Uni-Loc before ordering — joints are not cross-compatible.

What shaft diameter is the Koda KDJB10 Jump Break Pool Cue?

This cue ships with a 13.50mm shaft. Thinner shafts put more spin on the cue ball and feel crisper through the stroke; larger diameters feel fuller and are more forgiving on off-centre hits. Neither is better — it comes down to how you like the cue to hit.

Is this a carbon fiber or wood shaft cue?

The Koda KDJB10 Jump Break Pool Cue comes with a Classic Wood shaft. Carbon fiber will not warp, ignores humidity and deflects less; quality maple gives the traditional feel a lot of players still prefer. Both play at a high level, so pick the one that matches how you want the cue to feel.

What is the Koda KDJB10 Jump Break Pool Cue built for?

It is set up as a break, jump cue. Playing cues are balanced for control on shot-making, break cues are heavier with a harder tip for power transfer, and jump cues are short and light to get the cue ball airborne. Using the right one also protects your playing cue from break wear.

What kind of grip does it have?

The grip is wrapless. Irish linen wicks sweat and stays tacky, leather is plush and premium, and a no-wrap finish is fast and needs no maintenance. If your hands run warm, linen is usually the safer pick.

Is Quarter King an authorized Koda dealer?

Yes. We are an authorized Koda dealer, so this cue is genuine and carries the full manufacturer warranty against warpage and defects in workmanship. Warranty claims go through us — you do not have to deal with the factory yourself.

How fast does it ship, and can I return it?

Shipping is free on orders over $98 in the contiguous US, $5.50 flat otherwise, and you get tracking as soon as it moves. Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery on unchalked, unused product — contact us first for a return authorization so it is credited without delay.

Compatible Shafts

This cue uses a Uni-Loc joint, so these shafts thread straight onto it. Not sure? Send us the cue and we will confirm the fit before you buy.
