Description

The Players HXT90 is a playing cue built for the serious player who demands consistency, repeatable feel, and a build that holds up to weekly league and tournament use. It’s a sensible pick for the league regular, the home-table competitor, or any player ready to step up from a starter cue into something that will hold its value over years of play.

Build details follow Players standard production specifications – quality components, tournament-grade joinery, and the consistent feel the brand is known for.

This is the kind of cue that fits naturally into weekly league play, casual room time, and the occasional tournament weekend. The combination of build quality and balanced weight makes it forgiving enough for newer players while leaving plenty of headroom for players developing their stroke.

Players Cues are designed in the USA and have been a default starter-to-intermediate brand on league racks for decades. The HXT series carries Players’ Hi-Tech low-deflection shaft, a step up from house cues at a price most leagues can absorb.

Questions about this cue

What joint does the Players HXT90 Pool Cue, HXT Low-Deflection Shaft use?

It uses a 5/16X18 joint. That means any 5/16X18 shaft will thread straight onto this butt, so you can add a spare or upgrade later without changing cues. If you are matching a shaft you already own, check its pin against 5/16X18 before ordering — joints are not cross-compatible.

Is this a carbon fiber or wood shaft cue?

The Players HXT90 Pool Cue, HXT Low-Deflection Shaft comes with a Classic Wood shaft. Carbon fiber will not warp, ignores humidity and deflects less; quality maple gives the traditional feel a lot of players still prefer. Both play at a high level, so pick the one that matches how you want the cue to feel.

What is the Players HXT90 Pool Cue, HXT Low-Deflection Shaft built for?

It is set up as a playing cue. Playing cues are balanced for control on shot-making, break cues are heavier with a harder tip for power transfer, and jump cues are short and light to get the cue ball airborne. Using the right one also protects your playing cue from break wear.

Is Quarter King an authorized Players dealer?

Yes. We are an authorized Players dealer, so this cue is genuine and carries the full manufacturer warranty against warpage and defects in workmanship. Warranty claims go through us — you do not have to deal with the factory yourself.

How fast does it ship, and can I return it?

Shipping is free on orders over $98 in the contiguous US, $5.50 flat otherwise, and you get tracking as soon as it moves. Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery on unchalked, unused product — contact us first for a return authorization so it is credited without delay.
