It is built on the 11.75mm HXT wood shaft in classic wood construction, the same low-deflection shaft used through most of the PureX line, and it skips a wrap entirely in favor of a bare, slip-stroke handle. The contrast between the dark antique stain and the crisp white point work makes this one of the more visually striking wrapless options in the lineup, without adding any inlay material beyond the points themselves.
