The Rage Dark Grey Youth Cue is a Rage playing cue sold by Quarter King Billiards. It has a 5/16X18 joint and a 13.00mm classic wood shaft. It is in stock at $65, with free shipping over $98 and 30-day returns.

Description

Dark grey splits the difference between Rage’s black and brighter-colored youth cues, still built on the same 13mm classic wood shaft, 5/16×18 joint, and wrapless handle as the rest of the line. It is priced at about $60, keeping it accessible for outfitting a youth program or buying a first cue for a kid without a big investment up front. The grey finish is muted enough that it should not show wear as quickly as the lime green or electric blue versions might over a season of regular play. It is currently in stock and ready to ship to whoever needs a dependable, low-key youth cue.

Questions about this cue

What joint does the Rage Dark Grey Youth Cue use?

It uses a 5/16X18 joint. That means any 5/16X18 shaft will thread straight onto this butt, so you can add a spare or upgrade later without changing cues. If you are matching a shaft you already own, check its pin against 5/16X18 before ordering — joints are not cross-compatible.

What shaft diameter is the Rage Dark Grey Youth Cue?

This cue ships with a 13.00mm shaft. Thinner shafts put more spin on the cue ball and feel crisper through the stroke; larger diameters feel fuller and are more forgiving on off-centre hits. Neither is better — it comes down to how you like the cue to hit.

Is this a carbon fiber or wood shaft cue?

The Rage Dark Grey Youth Cue comes with a Classic Wood shaft. Carbon fiber will not warp, ignores humidity and deflects less; quality maple gives the traditional feel a lot of players still prefer. Both play at a high level, so pick the one that matches how you want the cue to feel.

What is the Rage Dark Grey Youth Cue built for?

It is set up as a playing cue. Playing cues are balanced for control on shot-making, break cues are heavier with a harder tip for power transfer, and jump cues are short and light to get the cue ball airborne. Using the right one also protects your playing cue from break wear.

Is Quarter King an authorized Rage dealer?

Yes. We are an authorized Rage dealer, so this cue is genuine and carries the full manufacturer warranty against warpage and defects in workmanship. Warranty claims go through us — you do not have to deal with the factory yourself.

How fast does it ship, and can I return it?

Shipping is free on orders over $98 in the contiguous US, $5.50 flat otherwise, and you get tracking as soon as it moves. Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery on unchalked, unused product — contact us first for a return authorization so it is credited without delay.
