The Rage Lucky Green Cue with Black Nylon Wrap is a Rage playing cue sold by Quarter King Billiards. It has a 5/16X18 joint and a 13.00mm classic wood shaft. It is in stock at $164, with free shipping over $98 and 30-day returns.

Description

The Lucky Green Cue pairs a green finish with a black nylon wrap, giving it more contrast than Rage’s single-tone wrapless cues. Underneath the wrap it runs the same 5/16×18 joint and 13mm classic wood shaft used across most of the Rage catalog, so the nylon changes the grip feel and color rather than the underlying performance. Nylon wraps tend to stay grippy even when hands get sweaty, worth knowing if a bare wood handle has ever felt slick during a long session. At about $160, it is in stock and ready to ship. The green and black combination also makes it simple to spot in a shared cue rack.

Questions about this cue

What joint does the Rage Lucky Green Cue with Black Nylon Wrap use?

It uses a 5/16X18 joint. That means any 5/16X18 shaft will thread straight onto this butt, so you can add a spare or upgrade later without changing cues. If you are matching a shaft you already own, check its pin against 5/16X18 before ordering — joints are not cross-compatible.

What shaft diameter is the Rage Lucky Green Cue with Black Nylon Wrap?

This cue ships with a 13.00mm shaft. Thinner shafts put more spin on the cue ball and feel crisper through the stroke; larger diameters feel fuller and are more forgiving on off-centre hits. Neither is better — it comes down to how you like the cue to hit.

Is this a carbon fiber or wood shaft cue?

The Rage Lucky Green Cue with Black Nylon Wrap comes with a Classic Wood shaft. Carbon fiber will not warp, ignores humidity and deflects less; quality maple gives the traditional feel a lot of players still prefer. Both play at a high level, so pick the one that matches how you want the cue to feel.

What is the Rage Lucky Green Cue with Black Nylon Wrap built for?

It is set up as a playing cue. Playing cues are balanced for control on shot-making, break cues are heavier with a harder tip for power transfer, and jump cues are short and light to get the cue ball airborne. Using the right one also protects your playing cue from break wear.

What kind of grip does it have?

The grip is nylon wrap. Irish linen wicks sweat and stays tacky, leather is plush and premium, and a no-wrap finish is fast and needs no maintenance. If your hands run warm, linen is usually the safer pick.

Is Quarter King an authorized Rage dealer?

Yes. We are an authorized Rage dealer, so this cue is genuine and carries the full manufacturer warranty against warpage and defects in workmanship. Warranty claims go through us — you do not have to deal with the factory yourself.

How fast does it ship, and can I return it?
